  • "Very clean with everything you may need."

I think the whole place had recently been refitted. Shower worked well and nice fluffy white towels. Small shop within walking distance but very expensive. It's worth the drive to a very busy Waitrose which is only 10 mins away. Liked the view of the cows in a field at the end of the garden. Nice touch with milk, sugar, tea bags, orange juice, coffee and cereals. Lots of upmarket restaurants at The Menai Bridge. In all a very pleasant stay.

Thank you for the positive review, so glad you enjoyed your stay Property Owner

  • "We had a great stay."

The only reason for not giving you top marks for everything is that the mattress and base in the double bed are very tired and sag in the middle. Also the springs can be felt in the mattress in the single room. We think that a comfortable mattress is the most important thing in any holiday accommodation We would love to stay again if you could sort this out.

Thank you for your feedback and making us aware of issues. We will certainly look into aforementioned. Glad you enjoyed your stay. Property Owner

  • "Very impressed with the clean and modern interior."

Lovely bathroom, easy to adjust heating system , beautiful views out of the dining room and a very quiet neighbourhood with considerate neighbours. Clear instructions for the recycling arrangements were appreciated as well as a welcome incl fresh milk and a treat. For some reason we couldn't get the oven to work and there was no note to say it was out of order, but the hosts will probably deal with that now that it's been pointed out. ( I missed the use of a tea pot, though we had not been promised one...) A small strainer would have been useful, too. Just minor things. Everything else was great for the price we paid, we were positively surprised!

Thank you for the positive review and glad you enjoyed your stay at Ty Mon. We apologise that there was an issue with the oven but are happy to say this has now been repaired and in full working order. Hope you had a safe journey home. Property Owner

Other than these 2 minor things, the house is the ideal place to stay and is extremely clean and comfortable!

I am so sorry to hear you had problems regarding Fire Alarm and light bulb. We regularly check fire alarms and at last testing we found no issues. We would have gladly arranged for replacement of both fire alarm and bulb if you had given us a call to inform. Thank you for positive review re cleanliness and comfort. • "We had a fantastic week staying in Ty Mon."

The house contained everything we needed, was modern and comfortable, and was cleaned to a high standard. We also appreciated the generous welcome pack, thank you! The surrounding area is beautiful and there was no shortage of things to do. Nice Park at the end of the road for the kids, behind which is a pub with a pool table. Pretty outdated place and not much choice at the bar, however, the staff and locals were so friendly and welcoming, we stayed for most of the night. All round great holiday and we would happily return. Only thing to note is that if your pooch is an escape artist the garden isn't 100% secure (low fences and a few gaps) so you'll have to keep an eye on it. Ours was happy enough not to wander off though and enjoyed his stay as much as we did. Highly recommended!

Thank you for the positive review and glad you enjoyed your stay. Hope to see you again. Property Owner

The double bed was uncomfortable. Although we appreciate it was August and peak time we felt it was over priced at £1200. Nice garden and really quiet. We did have a lovely week as the weather was good and Anglesey is beautiful. V difficult to eat locally as restaurants fully booked for two weeks.

The house was a bit cramped for 5 adults, especially with no separate loo. The kitchen lacked some essentials - wooden spoons, a whisk, a large saucepan, casseroles, a bread knife and a colander. However the cottage had the bonus of a garage for bike storage and excellent garden furniture.

General cleanliness was poor, toaster was dirty, lounge rug needs replacing, dirty, decking and table needed cleaning, shower grouting needs replacing, no vacuum cleaner

We are sorry to hear you were disappointed with the cleanliness of the property, if you had contacted us during your stay we would have been more than happy to arrange for the cleaner to re-attend or provided you with a vacuum cleaner. We do not leave a vacuum cleaner in the property, however, there is a dustpan and brush for you to use if needed. Regarding the decking and outside seating area, this had been jet-washed before your stay, therefore, any dirt must have happened after the changeover was completed. Property Owner
