  • "Lovely little house at a great price."

The house itself is located in a pretty quiet area. No nightly noise, very close to a shop and restaurant and of course one of the nicest beaches we visited. If you're planning on accessing the mountain hikes, most of them are within an hours drive. No issues whatsoever during our stay (other than the weather!). The owner popped by near the end of our stay to take out the recycling (which is encouraged and well organised) and was a very friendly and polite chap. Most of the do's and don'ts are helpfully signposted within the house and as long as the place is treated with respect you'll have a great stay. I would absolutely recommend the property and would definitely return.

  • "A comfortable homely house that suited our group of 4 adults, one couple and 2 independent friends, perfectly."

It was well equipped, the only thing we didn't find was the hair dryer. Newborough was a good location to begin our walking and cycling excursions throughout the week, some direct from the house, others a short drive away. The secure back garden was good for storing our bikes and it was easy to use the free parking area just a few yards up the road for the extra car. The welcome pack of milk, tea, coffee, bread and welsh cakes was much appreciated.

The hair dryer is located in the dressing table drawer in the main bedroom. Property Owner

  • "A hidden gem."

The photos do not truly show how large and comfortable each of the rooms are. The house has all the amenities you would need when away from home and the owners left us a lovely welcome pack to start the visit. The beds are very firm but comfortable. The towels are large and thick. The garden - although not used - was lovely and I'm sure if we had the weather we would have sat outside to enjoy. The position is fantastic for visiting the amazing beach and forest at Newborough - its a 40 minute or 2 mile walk, but doable as it is mostly flat, or a 5 minute drive parking is £2 for 2 hours, followed by a fee for each hour after - you will not be disappointed by the visit. Across the road is a small but very welcoming pub, The White Lion, who do meals. And on the corner a small cafe and corner shop. It is a great base for visiting Anglesey, Caernarfon and Snowdon.

  • "Very nice property , had everything we needed and was in a quiet area ."

We met the owner and had a chat . He gave permission to take some apples from his tree with which my wife made apple pie. Will stay there again hopefully.

  • "Owner was nice and there if we needed him."

House was clean and tidy. Only thing I found it was short of was maybe a parasol for shade in the garden but our weather was a bit extreme this week. Would happily recommend.

  • "Cottage was in a good location and well presented."

Plenty of space for our family with three young children. Garden looked great but we didn’t get the best weather for it. Sofas in living room are very uncomfortable to sit on and the mattress in main bedroom is very firm and hard to sleep on. Apart from those two points we really enjoyed our stay at the cottage. However we paid a premium for our weeks stay and would have expected more comfort. Welsh cakes were a lovely touch.

  • "The cottage was spacious for 2 adults and 2 kids."

The bathroom could have been cleaner, there was a lot of dust and hair in places and could do with blinds for extra privacy. We were glad the cottage was a short drive to the Llanddwyn beach which was beautiful and we enjoyed. The travel cot and high chair came in very handy. Unfortunately the stair gate would not fit at the top of the stairs. A dish washer would be useful to save on the time washing up. Overall we were happy with the stay.

  • "I purely booked this property from reading the reviews, and it did not disappoint."

The garden out back is grande and secluded its nice. Apart from the “shameless” family across the road that can only communicate screaming at eachother in drunk rage, (that i found hysterical btw) and i mean 7am or midnight, im guessing they have scared off the locals? But if you can laugh at that, then the entire place is ace. Oooo yes we met the lovely couple who own the place, male seems nice and friendly. Highly recommended, was £600 for the week and other caravan sites wanted 1200 for a static that week! so HIGHLY recommended!

  • "We were amazed how big the place was, as the advert makes it look smaller."

A lovely clean an quiet house with a large rear garden. Situated about 100 yards from the Pub, Shop, Chippy and cafe. A drive to the beach but we walked it there and back. Lovely part of Anglesey. Our only regret was that we should have booked for a longer stay. Definitely booking for next year. A great place to chill and unwind.
