  • "We have stayed at this property a few times now because we love the location."

On the plus side, 1.Allocated parking space is definitely a bonus. 2.plentiful hot water 3. Furniture is comfortable, but the double bed is too small. 4. Kitchen & bathroom facilities are ok. NEGATIVES 1. The TV in the lounge is old. The remote doesn't work properly & it doesn't maintain the Internet connection so we were not able to access any apps. The picture quality is awful. 2. Lounge curtains over the Juliet balcony have been removed. Street lights stream through making the TV picture worse and raising privacy issues as when in the lounge you are in full view of the people on the road and those sitting at the bus stop below. 3. We found a broken dish, glued back together and put in the cupboard, the hair dryer nozzle was also broken. 4. Oven is temperamental 5. Black mould at the back of the bath taps and on the bath mat. 6. Only 1 bin in the entire apartment We are really disappointed as we love Anglesey & love staying here , but we feel that although on the surface it looks lovely, it has not been maintained well & some of the appliances are dated. The removal of the lounge curtains sound like a trivial issue but it seems like no consideration has been given to the people actually staying there. All issues were reported to Sykes & the owner, we had no response until the day we left.

  • "We absolutely loved our stay at Pen Llanw Tides Reach."

The apartment was spotlessly clean and very comfortable. Rhosneigr is a fantastic base for discovering Anglesey. We hope to visit again soon. The only negative we had was the TV in the living room, it’s on its way out, the screen colour and controls were not very good. Apart from that though, brilliant!!

Couldn’t be better situated, near to the beach, restaurants and shops. We barely used the car which was such a treat. Quiet at night and really comfortable accommodation.

  • "On the whole we were very pleased with the accommodation and enjoyed our stay very much."

. However, we would like to bring to your attention a couple of shortcomings which we feel could have been better. The folding wooden chairs in the kitchen-diner compared with furniture in two other apartments (occupied by our daughters and families, were most uncomfortable and basic. The double bed in bedroom 1 was rather small. But apart from these two niggles, we were very pleased with the overall quality of the apartment and will certainly return.

  • "We enjoyed our stay in this very nice flat very much."

It is very conveniently situated close to the sea, shops, cafes and a friendly and welcoming church. It is well equipped, well furnished, well decorated and the bathroom and kitchen was spotlessly clean. I could not give top marks for cleanliness because I had to clean the lounge window which was covered in bird mess when we arrived and underneath the sofa there was a layer of dust. It was quiet and very relaxing. Thank you.

  • "Had a lovely stay in a perfect location."

As the name implies the tide is very much in reach with the beach literally at the end of the street. Plenty of amenities in easy reach. The apartment is a decent size and has everything you need. We did have an initial issue with the boiler but the owner responded instantly to this but managed to resolve ourselves. As someone else has mentioned, the extractor in the bathroom doesn't seem to work, the apartment is airy enough for this not to be an issue though. Overall the apartment is very clean but under the couches hadn't been done for a while as the dog was trying to eat some old bombay mix but apart from that all good. These are only tiny gripes on what was an excellent stay in a week that flew by way too quickly. Wouldn't hesitate to go back again.

  • "Lovely apartment with sea views from the sitting room and generally well equipped."

The only down side was the extractor fan in the bathroom didn't work and there is no shaving socket which is why we have down graded the facilities. It was also quite noisy (singing in the pub opposite) in the evenings and early mornings (deliveries to the shop opposite starting from 7 am).

  • "2 minute walk to the beach."

Right in centre of village. Beautifully decorated apartment. Bunk beds in on bedroom. Ideal for family of 3 or 4. Very warm apartment. Huge TV. Very quiet. Near convenice store (1 munite) local pub (1 minute) chippy (1 minute). Restaurants at hand. Nice village. Apartment has everything you need to cook. . Only problem for the excessively pedantic is the confusing 4 minute difference between the beautiful village clock outside the window and the clock inside the house.

  • "We had a great time at the apartment!"

As soon as we walked through the door it had a homely feel and it was extremely clean and welcoming. My husband didn’t join us until middle of the week due to work but even though I was on my own with two children, I felt completely safe there. The parking is very handy and the children loved the sofa and tv in their bedroom. Would highly recommend and would stay there again!

  • "The flat was lovely and very well equipped."

My only suggestion would be to reintroduce a bath mat, I can see from the information folder in the flat that since Covid the bath mat had been removed but it was impossible to shower without water getting onto the floor so a bath mat would really help.

  • "This was our second visit to this accommodation, however this time there were a few issues."

Some of the dishes & saucepans were not clean. The mini wok had the remains of someone's stir fry still in it, a small roasting pan had remnants of food in it & the same rusty frying pan that was there when we visited last year was still there, still rusty & unfit for purpose. We were surprised to find the cushions were there, these had been removed last year to comply with covid regulations. We love this apartment & it's location but will not be staying again , the price this year was almost £200 more expensive than last year & has gone up to £815 for next year. We feel that people are being greedy & taking advantage of the covid situation. We love Anglesey but it would be cheaper to stay 7 nights bed & breakfast and there are lots more reasonably priced cottages and apartments

It is a very high spec apartment in terms of quality, comfy beds, thick carpets, everything you could need in a kitchen and all little details have been thought of right down to a little sewing kit in one of the draws! There are plenty of games and the kids room has a TV with built in DVD for any rainy days... or if you just want to lose them to their room for a bit! Can see the sea from the front windows/balcony even though you initially see the one-stop shop, bus stop and beautiful town clock which chimes each hour. Very impressed and would definitely book again.
