Fantastic property, well maintained, really comfortable and great location.

This was our second time staying at the property and would definitely stay again.

Great weather helped. A family holiday with a big birthday celebration. House beautiful & clean . Spacious garden with many hours spent in it playing ball games and generally entertaining a 3 year old who loved the morning drive by’s from the farmer/owner. We menu planned and ate together as a family with a birthday meal at Sea Shanty Cafe in Treaddur highly recommend and a meal in Spice Island in Menai on the main road through. Could do with a larger /2nd fridge but as the owner pointed out in feedback they previously had one but a lot of people eat out / takeaway. Doesn’t deter from the great time we had and would certainly go back and recommend .Thankyou

We had a lovely stay at Dol Fraint, a nice big house with plenty of space.

Communication with the owners was good. It has very convenient access to the A55 to be able to reach all parts of the island within a max of 45mins. Major supermarkets within 10 mins drive. We shall return with a larger group next time.

The house was spacious, well equipped and very comfortable.

Our two toddlers really enjoyed discovering 'new' toys. The garden was lovely with great views to Snowdonia. Two things would add even further to the comfort - a tumble dryer and a kitchen knife sharpener. We would definitely like to return for another holiday.

We loved Dol Fraint, a lovely house, in a very convenient location with good access to the nearby town and others and the wider island and mainland.

The rooms were all comfortable too. There was a lovely welcoming pack when we arrived which was great. The only thing I would raise was a lack of some basic things in the kitchen. There was no salt and pepper (not a huge deal, but it meant we had to go without on our first night until we could go to the shop again) and there was no kitchen cleaner, which was baffling as surely this is really important for the upkeep of the kitchen. This aside, everything was spot on and I wouldn't hesitate recommending Dol Fraint to friends.9

The house was very warm and a great place to visit other towns in Wales from. Information supplied regarding eating places and other places to visit was excellent. A wonderful fun time was had by all of us.

The location is not far from main attractions in North Wales, quiet, and has amazing views. We enjoyed our break. Thank you to the owners for the excellent welcome basket, especially the home made lemon drizzle cake - it was one of the best cakes we've had! I would recommend this property to anyone looking for an Anglesey break.

Amazing house with stunning scenery in near perfect location

A delightful house in breathtaking tranquility, the views of the rolling mountains of Snowdonia are captivating.

We enjoyed every moment at this beautiful gem of a spot. The house was incredibly clean. Welcomed by a tray of beautiful buns was a sweet touch that got the holiday started. Unlike other holiday cottages, there are no mandatory demands to, for example, strip the beds or put the bins out - there is a mere request, if you have the time. It sets the tone for how wonderfully this house is managed. The house is quite central for Anglesey, and most places are within 20 minute drive. We would all recommend and return in a heart beat. Stunning house and views - will be back in the future

We loved this house it really did feel like home.

We had two nights of very stormy weather and we noticed that a little water was coming in through the top of the window frames in the master suite bedroom and in the living room just so the owners are aware but it didn’t cause us any problems. We were very comfortable, everyone had plenty of space and we really enjoyed our stay and would love to stay again in the future. Such beautiful views and a great location too. Thank you for the lovely gift basket also.

The property was perfect for our extended family to celebrate my parents 80th birthdays.

The house was beautiful, the location amazing and the views were stunning. The owners seemed to have thought of everything. The only issue we had was the shower in the en-suite to the main bedroom didn’t run hot. Everything else was just perfect

Had a relaxing week at dol fraint.

Six adults and two young children. Lots of space both inside and out. Kids happy in large safe garden. Fantastic views from property. Would be very happy to return next year if possible.

Lovely break at Dol Fraint .

the only issue we had was lack of information regarding the heating and there were a few Luke warm showers . The house was clean and perfect for a family get together and I would recommend it and would love to return.

Dol Fraint had everything we needed for our family (8 adults, 1 child) Christmas break.

A very well equipped house in a beautiful location, Dol Fraint exceeded our expectations and we had a very comfortable stay. The Christmas decorations and welcome pack (including homemade mince pies) were a thoughtful touch. Great communication from the property owner whenever I had a question. I would definitely recommend this property. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Very well equipped, particularly comfortable, exceptionally roomy, warm, quiet, fabulous views, delightful to sit outside in the sun, can't think of a single negative (other than than the tight bend at the top of the drive - but that is being very picky!

Perfect house in a perfect location overlooking the Welsh mountains.

Everything you needed was provided and the welcoming basket of goodies was delicious. The only minor problem was the toilet and shower in the main upstairs bathroom was slow to drain. However with 3 alternative bathrooms this wasn't a big issue even with a party of 9

Dol Fraint is the most beautiful holiday rental we have stayed in after many years of renting family sized homes.

The views, the house and the facilities were perfect for us. It was clean and fresh when we arrived and we soon settled in. We will definitely recommend Dol Fraint to others! Thank you.

The place was lovely.

We had a really nice time in beautiful Anglesey. The photos did not do justice to the spacious house/ the views. A few maintenance issues you may want to deal with which didn’t spoil our enjoyment. The main ones are: (1) broken blind in twin en-suite (2) broken toilet in master bedroom (3) dishwasher not functioning properly (the tablet seems to emerge unused) (4) toilet seat in downstairs bathroom (5) chair in lounge (armrest comes off)

We thoroughly enjoyed our family stay at Dol Fraint, the house is very spacious and well-appointed with more than enough room for everyone.

We enjoyed playing with the grandchildren in the back garden with the Snowdonia Mountains as a backdrop; the occasional distant train passing by was an additional point of interest for the grandchildren. The house is very well located with easy access onto the A5 expressway from Star making it easy to travel by car to many of the local attractions and the shops of Llanfair Pwll are relatively close by car.

Booked this house at the last minute for 6 adults and 3 children after having our original accommodation cancelled….

a blessing in disguise this turned out to be. The house is amazing! Very spacious and fully equipped. It has everything included you could possibly need for a comfortable stay. A lovely safe garden with amazing views and the weather was on our side for us to enjoy it. Would 100% recommend and would love to return.

We had a fabulous stay at Dol Fraint, the house was very clean and spacious for our group of 9 with incredible views.

Lots of room for parking and ample outside furniture with all bedding and towels provided. We were hoping to use the bbq provided in the garage but weren’t too confident on connecting the gas so that would be the only thing to check if you were planning to use! We would definitely return - thank you!

Lovely house in a nice area with adequate parking …cleaned and maintained to a high standard ….

the mountain view is quite magnificent…easy access to shops and beaches…we had a most satisfactory stay…..I would have no hesitation in recommending this property to any prospective visitor

Lovely holiday accommodation but cleanliness needs to looked at very very dusty glass .

doors needed polishing and skirting boards needed wiping for what we paid we expect a better finish ..we could write our names in the dust sorry but we would not book it again

We had a lovely stay.

The house was spacious, clean and well equipped. The cake that was left for us as we arrived was also delicious!! The garden was amazing with lovely views. I would love to come back in the summer and spend some more time there. The house is well located for all that Angelsey and North Wales has to offer. We will definitely be back soon!

Dol Fraint is a beautiful house in a very convenient and scenic location.

We were pleasantly surprised by the size of the house and the very high standard of the fixtures and fittings. The photos of the house on Sykes website don't really do it justice. The view from the back of the house was beautiful - again much better than we were expecting. The only slight issue was that we had to stagger shower times as 7 people needing showers in the morning quickly drained the hot water. Using the boost on the heating system and having quick showers sorted this. Would definitely stay again, hopefully when there aren't two storms in the same week!

We have just had a wonderful stay at this beautiful house in a stunning location.

All amenities close by. Lovely spacious kitchen dining and living area, all cupboards were well equipped with everything you would need. We will definately be returning in the future. Thank you!

Struggled to get hot water for a shower once one had used the shower water ran cold

Communication with Sykes customer relations called Kelley was not friendly but very abrupt.

Said she would ring back but didn’t, It did get sorted in the end when someone from another department rang on the day we were due to go. She was very helpful and understanding. But on a positive note the house we booked was lovely and we have booked to go again next year.

The House is a really good size for large family groups, everyone could find their own space and it was very well equipped and clean.

The views to the front of the house are spectacular and the beds were very comfortable. The garden was safe and large enough for all our ball games with the Children. It is a 5 minute drive to a local supermarket, and it was easy to travel to anywhere within Angelsey.

We had a great time at the property and really enjoyed our time here.

It is a very spacious, well equipped house in a lovely area and the views from the property are breath taking. We had a minor issue when we first arrived (we were not sure how to use the central heating) which the owner resolved for us very quickly.

The house was lovely.

Lots of space for everyone and not cluttered. Very clean too. View from the garden was spectacular. Would return for another holiday there tomorrow. The only thing we would like to see is more information about what to do with the refuse and recycling as it was not clear. Plus user manuals for the washing machine & dishwasher in the information pack at the house would have been useful. Other than that it was a lovely house. Thank you.

Dol Fraint was a lovely spacious house with spectacular views.

The photos don’t do the property justice, it’s massive. The kitchen was well equipped and the bbq was a bonus, might be useful to list it on the features so people know it’s there. The location was very central, easy to get to anywhere on the Island. The only thing that would improve it would be a hot tub on the patio to sit in and soak up the views.

The property was lovely.

The kitchen was well equipped, although there could have been a few more serving dishes and jugs (milk/cream and gravy) and there was not a large bowl to be found. The house was very clean and well presented. The Christmas decorations were lovely and made it feel very homely. The heating adjustment took a bit of working out (in the bedrooms) but the rest of the house worked fine. I would recommend the property to other members of the family and friends.

For a large property it was good value for money.
