"We loved staying here: 4 adults."
Weather was a bit dodgy but this didn't matter when we were so comfortable. It's great to have Swellies/La Marina so close for a bite out. And the pub on the waterfront is perfect. Some of us managed a high tide dip from the slipway. We went in all directions and had a very pleasant holiday. Here's what we liked that was provided: Some dishwasher tabs. Washing up liquid (not always in holiday houses). Teabags. Soap. Here's what we found slightly annoying: No pint of milk when we arrived very tired and grumpy after a long, traffic-laden drive. So black tea only. Only one toilet. It might get awkward if there were 6 staying. No information about the local Londis (10 min walk on main street). No cafetière. The Nespresso type coffee machine had only one coffee pod provided. Two milk but no use without the coffee! We wouldn't know where to get more. No bread knife (really annoying if you get decent bread). No washing tabs or liquid/powder. Just a couple would be nice. If you're intending to cook you need to bring: wooden spoon/spatula for the non-stick pan. (There is a plastic slice thingy) Easy enough to get. We like a boiled egg. Bring some egg cups if you do too. A pasta fork. Salt/pepper etc I'm sure everyone can do their search for the Londis store, but the other things, though small, do let it down from being perfect to being good. This is meant to be a place for self catering, so there need to be the things there to do that. As for the milk, this is a detail that most places include now. It's 50p and makes such a comforting difference when you've come a long way. I hope this doesn't sound too much like whinging: we loved Anchor's Rest - it's a lovely layout, it's very comfortable and the balcony is great, plus the open aspect at the back. It's also very well located to visit a wide range of places.

"This accommodation has proven to be quite unique in the sense that each minor detail was considered."
For example there was a washer/dryer, coffee machine and even the most commonly forgotten items for tourist, the hair dryer and iron! Spacious accommodation from which you can access communal facilities and famous tourist attractions just a short drive away.I will definitely be recommending this place to family and friends. Thankyou for accommodating our great holiday!
Thank you for your kind comments and we would love to have you back again soon. Property Owner

"Lovely property and refurbished to a really high standard."
Enjoyed sitting out on the balcony. Only negative would be the bathroom is very small if you had 6 people staying in the property, could do with squeezing another shower room in somewhere.
Were happy to hear that you enjoyed your stay. Many of our guests also enjoy sitting on the balcony with a glass of wine in the peace and quiet whilst reading a book. The balcony overlooks the large gardens which also contains wild a Peacock and Pheasants. These animals often come to the property to be fed as they are used to humans and frequent interaction. We hope to have you back again soon. Property Owner

"Anchors Rest has been re-furbished very well."
Plenty of crockery, cutlery etc for the two of us. Good quality utensils, coffee machine, kettle, toaster etc. 6 people may struggle to be seated with1 sofa and 1 chair. Plenty of walks including the Wales Coast path and traffic free special cycling routes along old railways from the door. Lovely to watch the yachts on the Menai Straits and in the docks. Peacock and pheasants in the communal gardens. Caernarfon and Bangor only about 4 miles away by car, bus, cycle or walk.
Thank you for the feedback. Yes, the property is ideally suited from people who enjoy coastal walks or who want to visit the stunning isle of Anglesey. In addition, the Snowdonia national is only a short 20-minute drive and offers an abundance of breath-taking walks. Property Owner

"Wonderfully renovated and decorated throughout."
The space was great and allowed us to all spend the time in the living area without being squashed. Loved the balcony and the quietness of the area

"Very restrictive providing a washing machine but limited options for drying clothes as not allowed to put on balcony and no clothes horse provided."
Regrettably, the estate doesn't allow drying of clothes on the balcony, so as to keep environment tidy and aesthetically pleasing. We can confirm that there are drying facilities, but unfortunately the week that you were due to arrive, the dryer function stopped working on the washing machine. This was replaced the following week, but we understand that this impacted on your holiday. Property Owner

"More than 2 bath towels would have been nice."
Surrounding properties let the location down somewhat. The property does not afford views of the marina.
We are sorry that you feel the surrounding properties did not live up to your expectations on this occasion. Anchors Rest is located on the Marina Estate and is approximately 1 minute walk from the quayside. Although it does not have Marina views, it overlooks well-kept gardens which hosts an abundance of wildlife including grouse and peacocks. Each bedroom has a full set of towels located in the cupboards it is unfortunate that you were unable to locate these. Property Owner

"We had a lovely stay at Anchors Rest."
The house was clean and comfortable. Sitting on the balcony watching the sunset was an added bonus. It's in a great location too, being just a short drive from Snowdonia. The plumbing issues at the beginning of the week were sorted out quickly and efficiently. It was just a shame that we found no "coffee maker" at the property as that is what is stated on the website. We could have brought our own! Otherwise, a great holiday!
Mr Wayne, thank you for your kind comments and were glad to hear that you have enjoyed your stay. We have taken your advice on board and added a coffee maker to the kitchen. We would love to see to see you back in the near future. Property Owner
