"Perfect! In the middle of town but also on the edge."
A short stroll to local butchers and bakers, with the convenience of high street stores if needed. Stroll around the friendly town to take in the history of Lanark, including William Wallace and the Covenanters.
A walk through the park takes you to open countryside and woodland paths, leading to New Lanark, Falls of Clyde and Bonnington Linn.
Cosy, clean, warm and comfortable inside with an outside, enclosed, seating area to soak in the afternoon and evening sun. Enclosed enough to keep two small dogs good so you can sit in comfort.
Absolutely recommend this cottage.

"Fantastic cottage ."
Great decor throughout with two lovely bedrooms and a modern bathroom . Good detail everywhere, Free parking right outside. Our three night stay went without a single hitch and no negative thoughts.
In addition to the cottage the welcome pack was well stocked and was fully appreciated . We would definitely stay again if we are in the Lanark area.

"Just wow! We have recently returned from a 3 night stay at this beautiful cottage."
Honestly, we cannot wait to return!
This lovely little cottage is in a central, yet tucked away location with easy access to the local town and countless beautiful walks.
The cottage is very well equipped with a high standard/quality finish. The welcome basket was a lovely touch which ensured we had all the essentials on arrival (plus a few extra goodies which were very gratefully received!).
It was fab that we were able to use the log burner on arrival as a starter pack of fuel had been provided. After that we managed to source fuel easily and cheaply locally.
The Christmas decorations were the icing on the cake for us, it was the cosiest break away we’ve had!!
The owner was also very accommodating being as though we booked with only 48 hours notice! Careful thought was given to our needs and communicated very well.
All I can say is this…. Don’t hesitate to book!

"Lovely wee cottage."
Just what we needed for a short break in the area. Comfy, cosy and clean. Lots of thoughtful touches, we loved the lap trays! Only thing we had a bit of trouble with was getting a hot shower, plenty of hot water from other taps but we couldn't seem to get it to come out of the shower mixer! Great location just minutes from the high street, yet very quiet. Green park almost outside the door and an easy to walk to New Lanark to see the waterfalls. We'd definitely book again when in the area.

"This was a lovely property in a quiet but central location."
Property was very clean, well maintained and well appointed. Great kitchen with everything you could possibly need. We had brilliant weather so could sit out in the front garden, which was quite private. Location was great: 2 mins to high street and on the edge of a park which ultimately brought you to the Clyde and onto New Lanark. Good comms from owner.

"Thank you very much for offering us a place in this beautiful place at short notice."
It is a clean, comfortable and tranquil place. We loved every bit of it, the comfort of the sofas and bed, the nicely blended colours in the house. We felt so much at home and especially a business day, it was nice to come to rest. Highly recommend.
