  • "We stayed at Fern Cottage during the October half term."

The cottage itself is just lovely, everything is so well thought out, and extremely well equipped. The owner, Jo left a lovely welcome pack for us and checked in with us by text the next day to make sure we had settled. We were a family of 5 staying and there was plenty of room for us all , both at the dining table and snuggled in front of the log burner. The cottage was spotless. Elsworth village is beautiful, lots of different walks for the dogs and the pubs (Poacher and George & Dragon ) are both within walking distance. Lovely friendly well stocked village shop. I would thoroughly recommend Fern Cottage both for the location and the cottage itself. Thank you Jo, you do an excellent job.

Once again, very enjoyable. The cottage was spotlessly clean, cosy, and well-equipped - with plenty of space (inside and out) for everyone. We love the quiet location with lots of nice walks on the doorstep, shops and restaurants close by in St.Ives and Cambourne, and good pubs in Elsworth itself and in nearby villages. All in all, a great week. Thanks, Jo and family!

The cottage was perfect - stocked with everything we could possibly need. Everything clean and comfortable and an abundance of fresh towels. Cannot fault the accommodation. Owners left full contact info re local Dr, Vet Chemist etc and 2 dog friendly pubs both of which served food..(Best to book tho if you are taking the dog because of specific seating areas ). Having noticed a small leak on calling the owners they came straight round to deal with it, just one of those things which didn't inconvenience us. Would love to stay there again. Best cottage we've stayed in.

We stayed here for a long weekend when going to a wedding locally, and it was a fantastic base. Really comfortable, spotlessly clean, and a really well designed space (nice sized rooms, good storage, and a nice open downstairs space, but with privacy if you wanted it). The owners were really welcoming, and even had provided age appropriate toys for the kids (a baby and a toddler), and an allergy appropriate welcome basket. Normally, travelling with 2 small kids is about 10 times more tiring than staying at home, but we actually managed to relax a bit here, which is high praise indeed!
