Swallow cottage was clean and comfortable for our weeks stay. Not too far away by car to shops. Lovely communal gardens and the surroundings and views were amazing. It is close to the lovely town of Bude a 12 minute drive. The cottage had myself, partner and large dog. We had a lovely week.

"Swallow cottage is a well maintained, very comfortable, spacious and bright property."
The owners left a welcome pack of Cornish biscuits, a jug of milk and tea bags, which was most appreciated. We took full advantage of the beautiful bluebell wood walk and the monks' ponds, taking our dog there most day. The owner's were friendly and on hand to give advice or help at all times.

Great location for exploring the coast line. We didn’t attempt the walk to Duckpool beach this time but did drive down and can recommend climbing the cliffs for a beautiful sunset!
Lots of bonuses about the cottage including washing facilities and washing lines, the utility area and additional toilet, plenty of room for myself and 4 teenagers. Can certainly recommend a visit to swallow cottage.
One thing I might suggest as a minor addition would be some games, cards or puzzles for guests to enjoy on a cooler or wet evening!

"Swallow cottage was lovely."
Great location to explore that part of Cornwall. Plenty of space for a family of 6. And a very well stocked kitchen which was a pleasant surprise. The garden area isn’t fully enclosed for each cottage so we didn’t tend to make use of the outdoor space during our stay, but the weather wasn’t always great anyway! Owners were welcoming and friendly. The New Inn served very nice food. A visitors book with local recommendations/suggestions from previous guests would have been nice, but the cottage information folder was useful.

Dog friendly which was even better. Only reason I gave it 9 out of 10 was the front door had gaps where the air could get through creating a bit of a draft otherwise would definitely recommend staying here.

"Swallow cottage was a very enjoyable stay for us, 2 adults and 4 teenage children."
We stayed for a week and found that the cottage had all that we needed (another comfy seat would have been perfect but didn't particularly hinder our enjoyment). The ground are lovely and it is very peaceful. The walk to the Duck Pool is very lovely. The owners were very helpful and friendly.

Hot water, not a big enough tank for 6 holiday makers. After doing washing up, not enough to have a bath.
Water system very loud upstairs, so no pulling of flush during the night.

"Lee Barton cottages is a great country venue."
Fantastic views across the landscape. You feel you away from everything else whilst still having easy access to other parts of Cornwall. Welcoming host and the experience of being on the edge of a farm. Garden area large and well kept. An interesting place to be. One very minor issue and that is the supply of hairdryer or tell us we need to bring one.

The cottage it self was clean and well presented with everything you need. The only down side was the squeaky floorboards upstairs particularly in the twin bedroom but we soon got used to were to tread. Would definitely recommend and will return.
