15 Brunswick Place is a spacious, comfortable, Victorian home situated in Stoke Village – a quiet district close to the centre of Plymouth.
It will easily accommodate a group or family of six with enough space to spread out.
There are three double bedrooms (one twin) and the owners have been careful to provide quality pillows and mattresses – a good holiday starts with a good night’s sleep.
A John Lewis foldable cot is available in the front bedroom if you need one.
Downstairs there is a large lounge with adjoining dining room and a large family table.
Down a few steps from the hallway there is a large, well equipped kitchen, including an American style fridge with ice maker, a range cooker, dishwasher, microwave oven and an Espresso coffee machine.
Just off the kitchen there is a separate laundry room with washing machine and tumble dryer, and a second toilet.
The kitchen leads down to a small breakfast room equipped with some games, books and a television.
This in turn leads to a few steps down to a conservatory with sliding double doors opening onto an enclosed, paved garden: you can enjoy an “alfresco” lifestyle even if it’s raining.
The house is equipped with superfast broadband and WiFi and three televisions: in the lounge, the front bedroom and the breakfast room.
There is also a DVD player if you want to watch a favourite film.
It is centrally heated, with an electric, wood burner effect stove in the lounge and is warm and cosy in winter.
Outside there is ample, free on street parking, usually outside the front door, but always plentiful on a parallel street very close by (1 minute walk).
One hundred yards away is “The Blockhouse”, a Napoleon era fort now converted into a park and children’s playground.
It is the highest point in Plymouth with panoramic views over the city and harbour.
Stoke Village high street is five minute’s walk away with a Co-Op, pharmacy, restaurants and takeaways, doctor’s surgery, pubs and places of worship.
It is a short drive, or bus journey (well served), to Plymouth city centre, Plymouth Hoe and the Barbican.
There you will find some excellent restaurants, cafes, promenades, sea swimming including the Lido, and night life.
Brunswick Place is 5 minutes drive away from Torpoint Ferry, a unique chain powered car ferry, which takes you into Cornwall and in particular the wonderful beaches at Whitsand Bay and Cawsand and the elegant parks at Edgecombe House.
If your interests lie elsewhere we are very close to Dartmoor with its wonderful scenery and hiking.
Other beauty spots of Devon and Cornwall are within easy reach.
Whatever your interests and tastes Brunswick Place will provide a very comfortable and convenient base for a great holiday
