"The apartment is beautiful, very clean, and tidy."

All necessary equipment is available. The bathrooms are modern and well-maintained. The view of the sea and beach isn’t perfect, but it is definitely there. The location with parking options is excellent. The beach is across the street, and we can recommend the local restaurants. From here, you can walk to the town center, and by car, there are countless excursion possibilities. Up to this point, everything is great and recommendable. However, there are also negative aspects: The two rear bedrooms are directly above the outdoor area of a fitness room/club belonging to the neighboring hotel. From around 7 a.m., the first gym guests arrive and start training, including in the outdoor area. From 8 a.m., group classes begin with more or less loud music, continuing with breaks into the late afternoon. One bedroom faces the sea and the street. Starting at 7 a.m., a loud power generator from a food truck begins to rattle. Arrival: This was simply a disaster and urgently needs a revision of the instructions!!! Luckily, we speak passable English, arrived in the afternoon and not late at night. With the booking confirmation, you receive a code for the entrance door to the building/parking area, which is changed monthly. Our booking confirmation was 2.5 months old, so our code was no longer valid. Fortunately, a very kind neighbor helped us and even called the apartment owner (we had received this phone number with the confirmation). The owner told us that he or his wife had sent the current code for the main entrance door via WhatsApp the day before. However, I had only provided a landline number when booking. I never received a WhatsApp message. Furthermore, the email states that the apartment key is in a box next to the apartment door, which can be opened with a code. That’s also incorrect. There is a box with a combination lock there, but it cannot be opened with the given code. The correct location for the key box with the apartment key is directly in the entrance hall next to the building’s entrance door. However, there are about 60 boxes there, and you need to know that it’s apartment 16. We found this number in the address, after the owner told it to our helper, but only as a number without any further indication. Well, in the end, everything worked out and we had wonderful days in Falmouth.

"These are not complaints but observations."

... No welcome pack - where are doctors, dentists, hospitals, supermarkets, bus stop e.t.c. Do not recall seeing any fire evacuation information inside property No recycling information inside property No instructions for heating, user manuals for cooker, microwave, etc. Car park and door entry code supplied by Skyes incorrect. Received a message whilst travelling to property with wi fi, access codes for key safe and parking barrier and access to main building for both May and June. (June codes never worked). Was this from Skyes/owner? ++++++This needs to be provided prior to day of travel.+++++++ Lounge door needs attention - squeaks on opening/closing Washing machine cupboard door does not hold closed, so opens and auto light comes(could be a nusiance at night) and waste of electric. Some chipped crockery which may which may not have been noted by housekeeping. Lounge corner sofa ok for 4 but if 6 staying would have to use dining room chairs. Parking spot 40 adjacent to entry door nearest barrier has a metal pole which can be used to secure parking place. This was being tripped over by people as entered/exited building. This needs to be highlighted to mangement of property as a Health and Safety issue. Key safe is not outside property but in main lobby of building This property is more expensive that other Skyes we have stayed in Falmouth and we choose this to "spoil" ourselves and it somehow did not win us over.

"This holiday flat is in a beautiful position with off road parking."

It was very clean & had extremely comfortable beds! Our only problem was getting in to the flat as we thought from our instructions that the key box was outside the flat when actually it is by the front door to the apartment block.

"Sebastian's View is a lovely apartment."

Only a couple of things that let it down. None of the locks function on any of the bathroom doors. They are all out of alignment so couldn't lock them. The Television is very poor quality. I would have expected a better television in an apartment like this. At least a Samsung or LG. Other than that everything else was very good.

"Lovely modern apartment with nice views."

Private parking at rear of property was a bonus. All the facilities in the apartment if you wanted to stay in and eat, but the closeness to the beach cafe/ restaurant and the town meant there’s lots of choices around for eating out. Bus stop across road made it convenient as only 11 mins into middle of town. Taxi into town only cost £5-7. Walking to town only takes about 15 mins. Location of property to all SW Cornwall attractions is easy. I’d certainly go to Sebastian’s View again without a doubt.
