  • "Front door lock was broken when we arrived (was left unlocked); WiFi @ £10 pp was expenses considering it would only work sporadically and very slowly in the corner of the man bedroom, elsewhere in chalet didn’t work at all."

    Generally was nice and clean and as described; would consider again if WiFi worked after paying for it.

Chalet 178, a welcoming, detached lodge that is well-maintained and located on the award-winning Atlantic Bays Holiday Park, near to the Cornish coast.

One mile away is St Merryn and three miles away is Padstow and in both villages are a variety of bars, pubs, restaurants, and amenities.

Whilst in the area it is a must to visit the sandy beaches of Newquay and you could even try a bit of surfing!

On the holiday park, the kids will never be restless with plenty of grounds for them to play on and even a kid's play zone area for under twelves.

The cottage itself has two bedrooms made up of one double and one triple bunk room, and all have access to a family bathroom.

The rest of the cottage is made up of an open-plan living area with a kitchen, a folding dining table, and a sitting area.

Step outside onto the decking area and enjoy some al fresco dining or a refreshing drink.

With ideal family accommodation for eating delicious meals and simply relaxing, Chalet 178 is definitely the perfect family retreat.

Chalets situated on the award-winning Atlantic Bays Holiday Park. The chalet is set amongst 27 acres, the park is just one mile from St Merryn and three miles from Padstow. The North Cornwall coast is a stunning area for visitors to explore with its vast array of beaches. The chalets have two bedrooms and a bathroom offering ideal family holiday accommodation. The open plan living area has a kitchen, dining area and sitting area. Outside is a private patio area with a picnic bench, an ideal spot to sit and relax. St Merryn is a typical Cornish village, located within two miles of the coast and close to the picturesque harbour and fishing port of Padstow. Surrounded by some of Cornwall's best surfing beaches and golf courses, St Merryn is a holidaymaker's dream, offering two pubs, three restaurants, a chinese takeaway, a chip shop, mini markets and a Post Office, yet St Merryn remains within easy reach of the area's visitor attractions. The vibrant town of Newquay is eleven miles down the road, boasting three major beaches, the National Surf Centre and an endless supply of rolling surf, making it a paradise for watersports enthusiasts. Newquay also offers good shopping, a zoo, a Sea Life centre and a variety of nightspots, clubs, pubs and restaurants.
