  • "An excellent 2 week stay at Oreos cottage in Cornwall."

The cottage is close to St Agnes town centre and is a comfortable, well appointed base to explore Cornwall from. The kitchen is particularly well equiped for eating in and the main bedroom with its large, double bed and en suite shower room and toilet is comfortable and relaxing. The living/dining room is a great place to sit and relax after a days exploring and comes with Sky TV, log burner and plenty of seating with a large dining table. The cottage was warm and comfortable so much so that we didn't require the log burner or heating for the whole fortnight. There is parking next to the cottage and the owners are very personable and communicative. The area round the cottage is a great place to explore being close to Chapel Porth beach and a great view of St Agnes beacon from the back garden. A recommended spot for a Cornish holiday. We will definitely be using again.

TV with Sky an added bonus. Cottage is in a great location for exploring and accessing the South West coastal path. Very private and only 10 mins walk from centre of lovely St Agnes (across fields). Thank you for the wine, biscuits and milk, so we could enjoy a much needed cup of tea upon arrival! • "Very comfortable, spacious cottage."

Really comfy duck feather and down pillows and duvet. Private, peaceful location yet just a few minutes walk from St Agnes centre. Well-located for visiting various places. Lots of local info and maps available in the cottage. Reliable TV signal and broadband. We had everything that we needed and appreciated the welcome items. The owners are friendly and happy to chat. Very relaxing and enjoyable stay. Sykes - please put a note in the cottage description to warn that low vehicles might not like the central ridge along the private track from the road to the cottage, and although there is plenty of parking, maybe to bring a car cover to protect car from bird poo from nearby tree.

Thank you for taking the time to leave your feedback. We are pleased you found Oreo’s Cottage to be comfortable and spacious and appreciate your comments. Regarding the road to the cottage, the central ridge mentioned is grassy between tarmac and maintained on a regular basis, therefore, this is more than suitable for most cars with plenty of ground clearance and not at all rough. ) had a lovely stay in Oreo's Cottage last week. We immediately felt at home because of the warm and tasteful interior. There was really nothing missing. The tranquility around the cottage has also done us good. Except for one stormy day as the wind swept over the roof and past the house, it was completely silent. St. Agnes is a nice base for the many trips and walks we have made. The nearby beaches and the South West Coast Path are really stunning. The restaurants in town are very dog friendly. We had delicious meals there. Jackie and David, thank you so much for our wonderful stay in your holiday home. Jacqueline, Carmen & Jip (from the Netherlands)

It lies just a short 5 minute walk from the centre of the popular Cornish village of St Agnes and a one mile walk to nearby Chapel Porth, a fabulous National Trust beach with small cafe.

A little further afield Trevaunance Cove is lifeguarded in the summer months and is a dogs haven as they are welcome all year round.

Perfectly located for a seaside family holiday, this attractive property has two nicely presented bedrooms, one with a double bed and ensuite shower room, and a twin bedded room (with additional pull out bed for a younger child).

In the sitting room, comfy sofas face the woodburning stove to give added cosiness on cooler evenings and off season breaks.

Outside you have your very own private enclosed garden with long views to the sea and countryside beyond.

St Agnes has everything you need in its bustling village centre including a bakery, coffee shops, butchers, greengrocers and newsagents as well as several good pubs and restaurants for eating out including Driftwood Spars voted one of the Top 50 UK pubs.

This area is a spectacular walking region with the Heritage North Coast Path and cliff walks for those wishing to explore on foot.
