"What a beautiful property!"
We thoroughly enjoyed our short stay at Hillcroft. The property was clean and the beds were SO comfortable. It is well positioned for visiting various places in Warwickshire …we enjoyed Warwick castle in particular. Thank you for a lovely stay!

"Super accommodation."
Well furnished and equipped. Provision of two walk in showers and a balcony from the living room an added bonus. The host was welcoming and helpful. A great place to stay to explore Kenilworth & Warwick and the surroundings.

"We had a wonderful stay."
The premises were excellent, the owners lovely and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

"Great house to stay, and thankyou to the owners."
Was just disappointed with how difficult it was to get in touch with Sykes cottages for any answers to my questions. Waiting on the phone for ages, never being able to get through and no-one calling me back!

"Whilst the property was finished to a very high building spec."
It lacked many things. E.G. no hairdryer, nothing to dry the clothes on when washed in the Miele washing machine (we had to go and ask for something). No basins, milk jug, scales, serving spoons, fruit bowl, casserole dish, dishwasher tablets (2 would have been nice), no chairs and table for the garden only a wooden bench for 2.! The Aga had been switched off for summer (we hadn't been told) so no hob to boil on. Only a microwave/convection oven that had no where to keep some of the food hot. There were information leaflets on the area but 2023 not 24. There were very limited instruction books for the appliances. No welcome pack. The kitchen is quite small to fit 6 people around the table and for you to move around the kitchen -- so difficult for 6 people. Having had many years using Sykes for great holiday experiences this was sadly not on that level. It could easily be improved, with proper utensils, pots and pans, casseroles etc. for the kitchen. but space in the kitchen was not good. The kitchen window has a great crack where something has hit it. As there is no pub close enough to walk to it is more essential to have a well equipped kitchen with a cooker with a hob and if not to inform potential hirers that this is the case. I notice on the previous feedback that they had experienced the same, but sadly didn't read this until we were in the property. added to which there was no information on local places to eat but no maps for walks, no games for children etc. no books not even a pack of cards.
Hello Pam, so lovely to have met you and your family, thank you so much for taking the time to give your feedback, your valued suggestions have now been implemented, with kind regards, Moira. Property Owner

"Couldn’t fault location and cleanliness of property and the space and configuration of rooms it offered this worked perfectly with our ‘group”."
However on arrival there was a note that the aga is not available during the summer months this made cooking our family meal on our first night very difficult without a hob if we had known this in advance we could have brought different food and with small children waiting to be fed!. A small ‘niggle’ was a couple of items missing in the kitchen, a fantastic larder but very basic items lack of serving dishes to use and heated towel rails not hot as advertised but overall the comfort did not spoil our break just trying to be constructive for future bookings
Hello Sonya, I really appreciated your feedback, so pleased to hear the property fulfilled your expectations, we have now added to the kitchen your valued suggestions, with kind regards, Moira. Property Owner

"Absolutely stunning property however on the listing it stated TVs in each bedroom which is a reason we booked with having 3 children and it being Christmas they could then relax and watch what they want."
However upon arrival there was only the TV in the living area.
Hello Kerry, I’m so glad you had a comfortable stay with us, but so saddened to hear of your disappointment that you were expecting TV’s in each bedroom, Hillcroft only provide a television in the living room. I’ve been in touch this morning with Sykes, they are going to contact you to explain this error of misinformation you were given, which they assure me has now been removed. With kind regards, Moira Robbins. Property Owner

"I attempted to provide feedback in a previous email, in which I also said that I do not like the idiotic 'faces' that you have included as 'categories of response'."
Thus I have made my displeasure clear in the only way that you allow. That said, we enjoyed our stay very much and I hope that you will inform the owners accordingly.
Angela human warmth is giving you this feed back, your message is really appreciated, so glad to hear you enjoyed your break, it was my pleasure to have you and your family stay with us. Moira. Property Owner
