The shared cooking experience is enhanced by the aromas and laughter that fill the whole open-plan area.

For relaxing moments, choose from a curated selection of books or gather for after-dinner games.

At bedtime, four bedrooms offer various options: a double with an ensuite shower, a king-size with a bathroom across the landing, a charming twin next to the bathroom, and a single with a trundle at the top of the stairs—conveniently located by a ground-floor shower room.

Start your day with a relaxing bath or an invigorating shower, then enjoy complimentary filter or pod coffee, speciality tea, or Yorkshire tea.

For an energising walk or jog, the Ellenden Farm shop café is just 300 metres away, offering breakfast, light lunches, and homemade cakes—a favourite among locals and visitors.

A Premier shop is also nearby, and the pub next door is ideal for quenching your thirst. There are numerous scenic walks around the village, the lake, and the picturesque Lenches villages.

HARVINGTON

Bretforton 7 miles; Broadway 10 miles; Cheltenham 20 miles.

The thriving village of Harvington is situated in beautiful Worcestershire countryside close to the border with Warwickshire and on the Blossom Trail. Harvington boasts an excellent well-stocked farm shop and two traditional village pubs, one of which is a triple award-winning CAMRA pub and both serve home-cooked food and local real ales. Harvington also has fishing lakes, a cricket pitch and an 18 hole golf course, and many walks can be enjoyed from the village, with the long-distant footpaths of Shakespeare's Avon Way, Heart of England Way and Wychavon Way running close by. The nearby village of Bretforton boasts its own community-run village shop and a 600-year old inn, owned by the National Trust, which hosts many music, folk and food and drink festivals throughout the year. The quintessential English village of Broadway has individual shops and boutiques, art galleries, restaurants and hotels including the world-renowned Lygon Arms, which has been popular for centuries and now offers spa facilities, enjoyed at pre-arranged times. The surrounding countryside is famous for its fruit-growing and market gardening, and Harvington is a great base for exploring the many unspoilt Cotswold towns and villages, along with Cheltenham Spa, with its Gold Cup Festival, the magnificent Royal Forest of Dean and Worcester, with its magnificent cathedral. The birthplace of William Shakespeare, Stratford-upon-Avon, is just a short drive away and offers many historic buildings, a theatre and the pretty River Avon. Regular bus services from Harvington can take you to Stratford-upon-Avon, Evesham, Warwick and Lemington Spa. The area has an abundance of National Trust properties, museums, lovely walks, golf courses, fishing and cycle trails, making it a great base for a memorable holiday at any time of year.
