Air-Con Cosy Cottage in Harvington

Hi Anthony Thank you so very much for your wonderful comments. I'm only sorry that we didn't get to meet; I held on as long as I could on your day of arrival; such a shame! Yes, we consciously decided against a high-end finish, where Guests might feel they had to 'walk on eggshells', preferring a standard that we, and our Guests felt was cosy, relaxed and informal; and, by the wonderful reviews, everyone seems to be happy - fantastic! I really must apologise, regarding the situation regarding beverages that we leave out for our Guests, but having left a 4-pint bottle of milk; over a Kilogram of ground coffee; a container full of instant coffee; 20± -coffee pods; 60 Yorkshire tea-bags; a box of green tea, and a full jar of sugar, we honestly thought we had left more than enough for two nights stay. The cottage accommodates eight Guests as standard, and with the sofa-bed, nine on many occasions, even more, with visitors on top, we feel, with the relatively low fees charged for the cottage in comparison to most other venues, we simply cannot afford to provide inexhaustible quantities; as it already costs us a small fortune. We do therefore feel it necessary to ask Guests to be prepared to provide their own beverages, once what we leave out is exhausted. Again, it appears we owe another apology, as we normally leave a spare roll of lavatory paper in each of the three bathrooms. On this occasion, the cleaning member of our team decided you wouldn't need a spare roll as well as a full roll; as you were only staying for two nights. We have now asked her to make sure there is a spare roll in each bathroom cupboard, no-matter how short the stay; so, thank-you for bringing this matter to our attention. Every little help is so valuable in helping us to continue to improve, which is a win-win situation for everyone. Thank you all, once again. 4Happydays, Mags & André

Hi Ros, I know this is rather late in the day, but fortunately, we've been non-stop since last year! I was lovely caring for your Guests on your behalf, and if we're available, we'd love to help you and your Guests again in the future. We noted that having full Air-con in every room proved popular, especially during the cold January nights; the Air-con is equally popular in the roasting heat of the Summer months, so we're pleased it was a success for the duration of the stay.
