  • "Outstanding accommodation."

We had a lovely 5 nights in this superb apartment. The owners have thought of everything and are clearly proud of their property and that their guests are comfortable and enjoy their stay. The property is spacious and very clean and well maintained, we cannot praise it enough. It was well located with many Cotswold villages and towns within a 12 mile radius. Just a note (not a complaint) to the owner that the bathroom cold tap in the bathroom has a drip, this did not affect our stay whatsoever. We would definitely stay again if visiting the area again and would highly recommend. Thank you, David and Christine Greenwood

  • "Loved this light and spacious apartment!"

I would certainly book again in the future. Shipston is a great market town with some great food options along with 2 well stocked supermarkets for meals at home. Thanks for a wonderful stay! Helen

  • "Brilliantly positioned right in the centre of the town close to shops, eateries and a couple of pubs."

A very well appointed flat with everything you could want for a relaxing break. We also liked that it was on a bus route to Stratford upon Avon meaning we could have a great day out without the car. The pay and display car park is really handy if you use it to park overnight but a better description and directions to the local free car parks might help future guests, that said we found them easily enough.

Thank you for your feedback. We are delighted you had a relaxing break and enjoyed Shipston and the surrounding area. Property Owner

  • "5* - a very impressive, well equipped and comfortable flat."

Paid parking from 9am-6pm next to flat but a few free car parks less than 5 mins away A great location as a base to explore the local area and attractions including Stratford and National Trust places. Shipston has a wide range of local shops, pubs and places to eat day & night. We would love to stay her again some time in the future.

  • "We has a lovely stay at this apartment."

As soon as we walked in we were met with a fresh clean smell. The apartment was light, bright and modern but still cosy. It was also lovely to have some tea, coffee, sugar, milk and a small bottle of prosecco to welcome us on our first day. We had all that we needed in the apartment and the village had a convenient bakery, Tesco Extra and pharmacy within 1 minute walk. We were able to park right outside the front door to unload the car on arrival and in leaving (20p for 1 hr, 40p for 2 hrs) the moved to a free car park within 5 minutes drive. The apartment was very easy to get to with light traffic around the town and was centrally located for exploring the surrounding areas. The town had many pubs and restaurants. Can't fault anything and would love to stay again.

Thank you for this kind feedback. I hope you will have the opportunity of coming back to to the Old Bakery in the future. Nigel & Tracy Property Owner

  • "We have now booked '5 The Old Bakery' on two occasions already and have been extremely comfortable both times."

The owner has been so friendly and accommodating that our stays have been completely smooth and problem free. The accommodation is beautifully set up and provides top quality amenities. Even though there are stairs to climb, our young children had a fantastic time and loved the place. We will be booking again in the near future.

  • "We enjoyed our stay in the apartment, which was spacious and well equipped."

It would have been helpful to have known about the parking issue of having to use the paid public car park, as on arrival we used the space opposite the entrance door marked “Flat 5” ( which turned out to be Flat 5 in a different apartment). The only problem in the apartment was that the mirror light , shaving socket and extractor fan in the bathroom did not work and if we had been able to contact the owners directly we would have informed them.

Thank you for the feedback and we are very pleased you enjoyed your stay. We will look at issues in the bathroom for which we were not aware. Sorry there was some confusion re parking, however the Sykes marketing does indicate the availability of the public car park . Property Owner

  • "We had an excellent 2 week stay at apartment 5."

The owner was thoughtful in inquiring whether we required . Tastefully decorated modern apartment, equipped with excellent appliances and in the heart of town. The only slight issue is with parking but this is only a slight problem as there is a quiet free car park within 5 minutes walk. We would definitely stay there again if staying in the area.

Thank you so much for your feedback . We look forward to you staying again at The Old Bakery Property Owner
