Enjoying a superb position in the heart of the seaside village of Castlerock, in majestic Northern Ireland is this superb dwelling, SeaShells.
This spacious accommodation comes within a stone’s throw of the sandy beach, a train station, and is within easy reach of the Roylal Portrush golf course, host of the 2025 British Open, allowing you and your loved ones to explore further afield Northern Ireland.
The interior of the property is spacious and enjoys a contemporary-style and everything a large group of friends and family could possibly need to enjoy a week-long break.
Here, you will be spoilt for choice by the sleeping accommodation that awaits you, with six well-presented bedrooms to choose from, designed to ensure a flexible sleeping arrangement.
On the ground floor you will find three double bedrooms and a king-size bedroom with its own en-suite, whilst upstairs you will find a family bedroom with a double bed and a single bed, as well as a king-size bedroom with an en-suite.
Catering to your culinary needs is the kitchen/diner, where the quality appliances invite you in during the evening to prepare delicious home-cooked meals that can be enjoyed at the large dining table with all of your loved ones around you.
From here is a utility room, where you will find a washing machine, a tumble dryer and a dishwasher for your convenience.
Relax into your evening within the sitting room where the double-fronted woodburning stove gently fills the room with warmth as you tune into the TV or get lost within a good book.
Younger guests will be delighted by the second sitting room, where they can retreat to watch their own TV programs and films.
If you can tear yourself away from this wonderful base, venture into the village where you will be delighted to find a number of eateries and a shop for picking up the essentials.
Spend summer afternoons at the local beach where you will discover the famous Mussenden Temple which was featured in Game of Thrones.
Here there is also the National Trust owned Downhill Demesne to explore and the golf course with superb views to enjoy.
Further afield attractions include the town of Coleraine and the county city of Londonderry is a scenic drive away.

We had a wonderful family holiday at Seashells, which met our requirements perfectly.
The house itself was clean, comfortable and spacious. The proprietor, Neville, couldn't have been more helpful. As to the location, it was truly spectacular: magnificent local beaches and shorelines, places of special interest and a railway station nearby giving easy access to Derry/Londonderry, Belfast and beyond.

A beautiful house which was clean and well presented.
It had all the facilities needed for the 3 generations in our family party. It is an ideal base for those who want to be by the beach and also for those interested in tourist attractions.

The property was fantastic, ideal for large family or friends group.
Its also very close to Castlerock town and beach, less than 5 minutes walk. Neville was very helpful with food suggestions in the area and the arrival and leaving procedures were likewise very simple. Definitely a house we want to revisit.

We had a fabulous stay in Seashells.
The house was spotless and extremely comfortable with lots of space for our extended family group of 8. Plenty of bedrooms/ bathrooms and different areas to relax which we all used. We loved the outdoor seating areas and as we had fabulous weather, we used this space a lot. Neville was very friendly and helpful with any query we had. Seashells is extremely well located to explore the local area and a short stroll to the train station and the amazing Castlerock beach. We’ll definitely be back!

Our group had an amazing time in SeaShells.
The house is great, it has everything you could possibly need. The rooms are well appointed and comfortable, there is loads of space even for large groups. The location is excellent, it's a short stroll to the village with shop, cafe's, bar and an amazing beach. The host were very friendly and welcoming.

Hi we stayed at Seashells,Castlerock property for weekend to celebrate my daughter’s 50th birthday with cousins and aunts, a group of 13 , had a fantastic time.
Neville was very welcoming and showed us around, accommodation which was spotless with everything we needed, even left processo and chocolates for birthday girl,which was very kind. We had a lovely walk to nearby beach, stopping on way back for coffee, everything was close by, Can’t praise this accommodation enough,will certainly be recommending to all my friends, and will return again ourselves. Great location, nice walks from property.
Within walking distance of beach. Surrounding countryside is really lovely. House was excellent, everything we needed. Plenty of parking to the front. Nicely decorated and clean. Comfortable beds and good amenities. Would definitely recommend to family and friends.

Perfect for our whole family. Clean, tidy and well-equipped. Lovely new sofas in living room and very comfortable beds. Also new oven. A short stroll to fabulous beaches.

An amazing property that perfectly suited our stay.
Nestled in a quiet residential area its location was within walking distance of the village. The furnishings were comfortable and relaxing. Would highly recommend and would also stay again.

Lovely house in a residential area.
We found and hopefully left the house in good, clean, tidy condition. Two en suites and a separate bathroom and utility room toilet meant no one had to wait - and we had three generations with us. Short walk for me (aged 68) to shop, pub and beach. Railway station for trips around the coast to Belfast and Derry.

A great place to stay and had everything.
Close to many towns and facilities and of course the fantastic beaches. Only down side for us - the beds were very firm.

What a fabulous holiday home in a fabulous location.
Seashells holiday home was extremely spacious and pleasing to the eyes. It catered for everything that we could possibly need and was situated a few minutes from a beautiful golden sandy beach. We will definitely visit again.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Sea shell Sykes holiday home for two nights with 3 families , and it was an absolutely delightful experience.
From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by the warm and welcoming atmosphere. The home itself is beautifully maintained and exudes a cozy charm that made us feel right at home. The decor is tasteful, and every room is thoughtfully furnished, providing both comfort and style. The cleanliness of the house was impeccable, which we greatly appreciated. One of the highlights of our stay was the stunning views near by and 14 minutes walk to Castlerock beach with a restaurants, local fish & chip shops and bar. The kitchen, bathroom, outdoor area were well-equipped and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay including bbq. We enjoyed exploring the area and found plenty to do nearby. Overall, our experience at SeaShells was exceptional. I highly recommend this lovely holiday home to anyone looking for a relaxing and enjoyable getaway. We will definitely be back! This is my second time at Seashells and it was just what we needed as a family.
We enjoyed the large garden, the kitchen was fully kitted one of the family is a chef, he was in his element. There was 8 adults and 5 children off all ages plenty of board games and outdoor space to keep them occupied. We went to the beach every morning to swim which was a 5 minute drive. A good fish and chip shop on the corner as well. Everything you need for time away with your loved ones. Neville is a great host, looking forward to getting ack soon.

Spacious rooms to accommodate our group of 13. ,very close to downhill drive in beach and mussenden temple.Home owner lives nearby and he helped us straight away when we had a small issue with smoke alarm. Recommended stay if you are planning to visit downhill beach and surroundings.

Neville and Donna have an amazing home away from home.
The house is immaculate and so well equipped. The location is a perfect proximity to the town and secluded in its little road. Neville was so welcoming and very easy to deal with. Would be a fabulous location for an extended family get away, or a group golf trip with proximity to the local golf courses.

SeaShells is a lovely, spacious property, nicely decorated and with all the equipment you're likely to need on holiday.
There was plenty of space for the 10 of us and having three bathrooms/ensuites plus two extra toilets was brilliant. Castlerock beach is gorgeous & the location was great for exploring the Causeway coast & travelling to Belfast. The owner, Neville, was very friendly & helpful & responded quickly to any queries. We had a lovely week & were very sad to leave!

The property was fabulous, well equipped, a 10 - 15 mins walk from the beach, 6 bedrooms all made up for our arrival, garden enclosed and safe for the children, friendly greeting by the owner for key exchange and at our departure. Overall it exceeded our expectations. We will definitely go again if we visit the Castlerock area.

Had a fantastic 2 night stay a the sea shells property, we were met by the owner who was very helpful and friendly.
The property was perfect for our 13 guests and had everything we needed, Castlerock was amazing which had a brilliant beach and lots of facilities. I would highly recommend staying here and we will be staying here again.

A lovely property with plenty of space for a family holiday.
A good base for seeing the causeway coast and we really enjoyed our stay. We found the bed a little too firm - but that is a personal comment - for others I'm sure it is fine. We did find it strange that there is a lovely large patio and enclosed garden but no outdoor furniture or barbeque. So when the weather is good there is nowhere to sit outside, not even a bench. We have been hiring cottages for many years and this is the first time we have come across this.

Matresses hard (all family stated including children), dust behind bedroom furniture which would have sorted if a hoover available.
Hi Debra, thank you very much for your feedback. So sorry that Seashells never met your expectations but I am not sure where the furniture was broken as we leave everything in perfect condition for all our guests. We are sorry that there was maybe a little dust behind the furniture in 1 of the bedrooms but with such a large house it would have been easy missed as we try to have our guests checked in as promptly as possible but this was inexcusable and I must apologize whole heartedly for this mistake. The ledge that you are talking about between the living room and the hall is where the carpet from the living room runs into the tiles that are on the hall floor and there is a little lip of approximately 5-10mm which we can't really do anything with unless we tile the living room floor but we have never had any complaints before about this. We have been in this business now nearly 4 years and this is our first negative review with everyone else always complimenting how comfortable the beds and their stay had been. However we accept all feedback as this allows us to act on it and keep improving our business going forward. Thank you very much.

The Seashells was a perfect holiday home in a perfect location and the owners couldn't have been more helpful and I would like to thank them on behalf of my family and myself for making our stay so enjoyable.
The beech was 5 minutes away and easy access to the towns nearby and we had plenty to do and see thanks to the information provided by the owners

We loved the house and found most things we needed.
We would have liked a larger table with at least some chairs (for our elderly backs), but all 10 of us could sit down to eat together which was lovely. We found some of the beds narrow for a couple, but, fortunately ,there was a sixth room that we used. One thing we missed was hooks for jackets in the hall and in the bathrooms to hang clothes and towels. Also, the internet works very well in the sitting room where the modem is, and less well elsewhere. A more central location would help. But these are small things. Overall, a super house in a great location. We were ten 60+ adults, and we thought the house was perfect for us. Spotless, cosy and highly recommended!

The place was immaculate.
Comfortable beds and plenty of space for a family of 12. The two sitting rooms were a bonus, a big cooking range and a lovely dining area. The outdoor area was secluded and fenced in to keep our wee ones safe and we were just a 10 min walk to park and beach. Wonderful

A clean, spacious and very welcoming home from home.
My only criticism would be the benches around the dining table are not very comfortable for the older generation, it would not stop me visiting again though.

Great comfortable and spacious holiday home which allowed for 4 generations of a family to enjoy a few days break in a lovely spot and explore the stunning North Coast.
The house had everything and more and was perfect for our 3 families to be together. The host, Neville, was really helpful and accommodating which was really appreciated. Will definitely be back and would recommend it to other families looking for a spacious holiday home.

Fantastic location with loads of space.

The house was bright, homely and well equipped.
The owner of the house was very attentive and helpful. We were a party of 13 - 8 adults and 5 children we all had enough space to do our own thing as well as all being together. I would recommend Seashells highly.

Loved staying at seashells, 12 family members shared this roomy, comfortable and lovely holiday home.
Everything has been thought of and if it wasnt already there we asked and the hosts Neville and Donna quickly provided it. They were friendly, helpful and made us feel very welcome. It's a great base for your holiday near the beach and central to other tourist destinations. I would definitely recommend Seashells for a holday.

.. what a home.... everything is absolutely beautiful, and the location was just perfect with only a short walk to the beach. The owners are lovely. Neville is so kind and left over a bbq when a few extra friends arrived to enjoy an evening. We had the best time last week and after a year of Covid robbing us all of making memories last year, we feel this week has more than recovered them. Could not have picked a better house for our holiday, photos can't do justice to the level of comfort and cleanliness we found.
Spacious and bright, and the large bedrooms don't compromise the living area. Unusual in a house sleeping a large number, there is plenty of room in both dining and lounge areas. Totally enclosed garden also a bonus and walking distance to the beautiful Castlerock beach. Owner very helpful and pleasant - thank you!

Neville was an exceptional host for his house.
The house had all the amenities we required and extra. It was cleaned spotless on arrival which was reassuring due to Covid. We were located very close to a beautiful beach and shops restaurants and only a short drive into portrush. This house would definitely be somewhere we would consider visiting again in the future.
