Situated in a prime location within close walking distance to the beach, shop, train station and Churches. Seaview has a great view of Castlerock beach as well as Portstewart. Many thanks to the housekeeper who provided a lovely welcome pack on arrival . I highly recommend this house to stay in for a Holiday destination.

  • "From the moment Eileen met us at the door with the keys we felt right at home here."

Lovely house, cozily furnished and so comfortable, with fantastic views of the beach from the picture window in the living room. Mussenden Temple and Downhill Demesne is practically across the street, and we loved having such easy access to its beautiful grounds and well maintained walking paths. The house is just a few miles from some of the most spectacular stops on the Causeway Coastal Route (Dunluce Castle, Giant’s Causeway, Carrick-a-Rede Rope Bridge), and we had a great time exploring the area and its many wonders. There are a couple of good dining options in Castlerock (the Meatbox makes amazing burgers), and plenty of options nearby for grocery shopping if you prefer to prepare your own meals. A wonderful experience overall, would be happy to stop here again. Highly recommended.

  • "Excellent holiday accommodation."

Good location for visits to sites along the North East Coast - Giant’s Causeway, Rathlin Island, Bushmills Distillery and locations associated with Game of Thrones programme. Castlerock is a lovely small village close to beach. Coleraine is only a few miles, away with all the facilities of a large town. Would recommend a train ride to Derry/Londonderry from Castlerock. Eileen the housekeeper was wonderful with lots of advice on ‘what to do’ in the area. Great holiday.

  • "We had a wonderful 4 days in the Seaview Apartment."

(24th to 27th April 2023) Eileen, our host, was extremely helpful and accommodating to any request we had. The house was spotless and had a terrific view and was bright and airy. The heating system was easy to work and the kitchen had modern equipment and everything you needed. Eileen provided a welcome pack which was a lovely touch. The furniture and decor were of high quality and very appropriate to the location. Our dog, Shadow, settled in well and it was great to have the enclosed garden at the back. All in all, a lovely holiday house/apartment in a great location overlooking Castlerock beach. We would have no problem in recommending Seaview to anyone. Arlene Haslett

  • "A lovely home from home with everything you could possibly need."

Beautifully furnished and comfortable. And pet friendly too. Warm and cosy with super views. The log burner was great, although the house heats up really quickly and easily anyway. Excellent location near the beach, village, train station and lovely walk to Mussenden Temple. Suitable for a couple or small family. (The back door entrance is directly in to the single bedroom so couldn’t really be used if that bedroom is occupied.) Not a big problem. It was perfect for us as a couple with dog. Eileen, the housekeeper, was great. Very welcoming and couldn’t have been more helpful and accommodating. Also a wealth of local knowledge. We would definitely recommend this property and wouldn’t hesitate to return for another stay.

  • "An excellent clean and spacious property in a great location."

Short walk to the beach and not much further to shops and cafes. House is great for a family holiday and Castlerock feels just a bit quieter and upmarket than some of the other resort towns on this beautiful coast. House has all you need including a genuinely friendly and very helpful host Eileen who does a great job on behalf of the owners. A great holiday location.

There is everything in the house you could need, it is very clean and the views of the beach from the living room are amazing. The village is quiet with a few coffee shops, a butcher, bakery, chocolate shop and a Spar, as well as a surf/beach shop but that’s it, no seaside trappings - we liked that but it may not suit all. Good train service to Belfast and Londonderry too, if you want a day off from the car. Lovely house and gorgeous village. Huge beach that is patrolled by lifeguards.

The house was immaculately presented, and every need that we may have had in terms of kitchen facilities, bedding, entertainment etc was provided for. The house is ideally located, no more than 3-4 minutes walk from the beach, and a similar distance from amazing looped walks through Downhill Forest, Mussenden Temple and Bishops Palace. There was even storage outside for our bicycles, wetsuits etc. We would highly recommend, and hope to return.
