Description

Resting in a quiet cul-de-sac on the outskirts of Foxford, a quaint village on the tranquil banks of the River Moy, lies this charming, two-bedroom holiday home, Aikenhead Terrace.

With living spaces set across the ground-floor, and exceptional proximity to nearby amenities, this property welcomes a family of four to enjoy a relaxing, self-catered getaway to the beautiful setting of County Mayo.

After parking up roadside, step into your new home-from-home and be greeted by a variety of well-presented living areas.

An amply-equipped kitchenette houses everything the chosen chef will need to rustle up a tasty, home-cooked meal, whilst a dining area with a table for four invites you and your loved ones to savour your meals as you catch up on the day's events.

Whilst the sun is still shining, take a glass of your favourite beverage out back into the rear courtyard, where you can kick back on the garden seating as you toast to your getaway.

After enjoying a film on the TV in the sitting room, head for a rejuvenating shower on your way to retiring for a well-earned sleep in one of the two, plush double bedrooms.

If you can tear yourself from your new dwelling, head out to explore what your surroundings have to offer.

Take a stroll into Foxford to embark on a peaceful stroll along the The Admiral Brown Promenade, which runs adjacent to the rushing waters of the River Moy.

Once you've worked up a suitable appetite, settle down for some traditional pub fare at The Moy Hotel before your head back to your peaceful new lodgings.

A short drive from your new home will bring you a to a plethora of exciting locations, such as the Knockmore Lakeside Picnic Area, which enjoys views overlooking Lough Conn; the historic remains of Ballylahan Castle; and the Turlough Round Tower and the National Museum.

The town of Ballina also houses the pristine landscape of Belleek Wood/Park and the Dolmen of the Four Maols.

Look no further than Aikenhead Terrace for your next escape to Ireland.

Lovely little home, comfortable and clean.

Check in very easy. Locatiin good for traveling to various tourist spots. Would recommend putting yellow tape on step up to bathroom to highlight it. Also a small paring knife would be useful.
