  • "Nice cosy cottage in a peaceful village and great for exploring the beautiful area and Lake District."

Ruth was very friendly and helpful and we had everything we needed for a long weekend. Just missed having a freezer for ice and ice packs for picnics as it was just a fridge. Walking distance to the Chamley Arms with very friendly locals and a small menu. We also enjoyed the Royal Oak and The Crown and Cushion at Appleby less than 10 minutes drive away.

Thankyou Susan and John for your very welcome comments and am pleased you had a good time. I take on board your suggestion to install a freezer which I will do shortly. Hope you had a good journey home. Ruth Property Owner
