Lovely clean, comfortable apartment. Would happily return & recommend

"As a family with autism and adhd At the Bay was perfect for us as it felt like we were staying in a home rather than a place we had to tiptoe around."
We love it as a base to explore Devon or just stay at the bay and enjoy the beach. You can spend hours beach combing and enjoying the view. They have all the facilities you would need, my only recommendation would be a dryer, if you are staying in the off season drying swimming stuff can take a bit longer but they have a washing machine, 2 bathrooms and al the comforts. I highly recommend a stay here! The cafe is yummy too!

"This apartment is perfect."
2 double bedrooms, a twin, 2 bathrooms, above a really sweet cafe that will do you an excellent meal for 4 for under £40 (10% discount if you are staying at the flat) epic views across the bay so my kids could go and play on the beach in the evenings, supervised from the sofa with wine. Pub 3 mins walk up the road, Spar 5 mins walk, excellent cream tea 7 mins walk. Ilfracombe a quick and steep trot on the south west Coastal path. Owned by people who are genuinely lovely and helpful. I honestly couldn't recommend it more and we will certainly be back. I already miss curling up on the big green velvety chair to watch the sea.

Very comfortable, spacious and furnished to a high standard. Perfect location next to a quiet beach, great for swimming and rock-pooling. Stunning coastal route to walk to town. Would return, and hope to do so.

"We had a lovely stay at the “At the Bay Apartment” for an entire week in August."
The 3-bed apartment was spacious enough to easily accommodate the five of us. The property is literally looking over the beach and the ocean view through the windows is stunning—one bedroom and the lounge room are facing the beach. There is also a coastal trail near the beach which leads to a viewpoint where you can enjoy watching the sunset. We did off street parking for free. There is also a car park in 2 min walk which costs £2.70 per day. The property had recently been renovated and the owner was very detail oriented. We had all we needed even including board games and books for entertainment. The owner Jamie was very kind and approachable. She also owns the café downstairs where you enjoy 10% discount as the apartment guests. There is no issue with noise at all as the café opens late and closes early. Overall, the apartment is impeccable.
Thank you for the wonderful feedback, we are delighted to hear that you had a lovely stay. The breathtaking views of the beach and sea from the apartment's windows are indeed one of the property's highlights, and we're thrilled that you found them as stunning as we do. Your description of the apartment as "impeccable" is music to our ears and we would be very happy to welcome you back whenever your travels bring you to the area again. * Dear Grace, thank you so much for the wonderful message you left in our visitor book- I also have many happy memories with my Nan at this beach. I hope you will treasure yours as I do mine :) Property Owner
