"Pumpkin cottage is lovely, very clean with everything you need."
It's in a lovely little gated community in a convenient location for both North & South Devon. Would highly recommend.

"A home from home - comfortable and clean."
Helpful hosts and loved the beautiful cake and Prosecco. Great location for so many great days out … Lyme Regis, Sidmouth, Exmouth, Dawlish, Dunster. Many National trust properties nearby .. don’t miss A La Ronde, Dunster Castle, Knightshayes The kitchen has all the equipment you could need. The beds are so comfy. Delightful community setting and lots of local walks to Coldharbour Wool Mill and Bridwell Park … try out The Orangery pop up cafe. I expect the will be back very soon x
Thanks very much Tracy! We’re so glad you enjoyed your stay. We look forward to welcoming you back one day. All the best, Amanda & Steve Property Owner

"Beautiful cottage, lovely decor, very homely and spotlessly clean."
Extremely well equipped - the owners thought of everything to ensure our comfort and enjoyment throughout our stay. Bottle of prosecco and delicious homemade cake part of welcome pack on arrival. We can honestly say that this is by far the best holiday cottage that we have ever stayed in.
Thanks so much Stu & Kate! We’re so glad you had such a great time and enjoyed our cottage. You were great guests! All the best, Amanda & Steve Property Owner

"This our second stay at the Pumphouse Cottage and we are already booked to stay a third time."
It is a wonderful cottage. It is spotlessly clean, with modern, high quality furnishings. It is spacious and light. The bed is so comfy and the kitchen is a delight to cook in. It is set in a quiet location, yet it has easy access to the M5 and some wonderful places to walk. It is very dog friendly and the back garden is fully enclosed. An absolute gem and one which we hope to stay in many more times.
Thank you so much for your wonderful feedback! We’re so glad you enjoyed your second stay at Pumphouse Cottage and look forward to welcoming you back next year. Property Owner

"We spent a very comfortable week in this delightful cottage."
It was well placed for access to all parts of Devon. Spacious living accomodation with excellent facilities, very comfy bed, well stocked kitchen with up to date appliances, tv and dvd supplied as well as internet. The owners kindly left a devon cream tea, milk, coffee and tea for our arrival. The garden is fully secure which is great if you come with your dog. Highly recommend this cottage for a holiday, we will certainly be returning.
Thanks so much for your positive feedback Averelle. We’re very happy you enjoyed your stay and you’ll be very welcome in the future. . Property Owner

"What a delightful cottage in a wonderful location."
Nobody could ask for more. I could not recommended this place any stronger, deserves 10 out of 10 every day of the week. The wife and I spent the Xmas week here with our grandson and we all had a fab time. The facilities are top notch and attention to detail is superb. We will definitely be looking to book again.
Thank you so much David! We’re so glad you enjoyed your stay and look forward to welcoming you back in the future. Amanda and Steve Property Owner

"Pumphouse Cottage is gorgeous, and is a credit to the owner’s attention to detail."
The cottage is welcoming, clean & cared for and the beds were so comfy! The welcome basket was appreciated and our dog wasn’t forgotten with treats left for her too. The neighbours were friendly. It is located in a quiet rural location so lots of nice walks but the M5 is easily accessible should you wish to venture further. Saying that the cottage is so comfortable I’d happily spend my time there, relaxing & reading as the cottage is perfect.

"Pumphouse cottage was perfect for us."
We chose the location because we were attending a wedding nearby. The area is excellent for walking and there are plenty of places to visit. The cottage is well equipped with all you could need . The most notable thing is that it is immaculate. It is in a very quiet setting but easily accessible from the M5 I would recommend this cottage to friends as a lovely property for a relaxing stay.
Thanks so much Viv. It means a lot to us, to know that you enjoyed your stay. All the best, Amanda & Steve Property Owner

"A really lovely cottage that has been fitted out with good quality fittings and furniture."
The homemade scones with a large pot of cream and jam on arrival is a nice touch.

"Complimentary feedback was left in the visitor book at the cottage"

"This cottage is exceptional!"
Huge, clean and so comfortable. It must be the most comfortable "holiday " bed I've ever slept in. Thank you for the welcome pack, cream tea and Dog treats. Loved the industrial theme throughout. Even my Husband said "shall we change our radiators for ones like these" until we saw the price in Screwfix, Gulp!!!! The kitchen had everything you could possibly need and plenty of it. I could do with another holiday just to lounge around and read all the books that were in every room. We took our dog on regular walks to Knightshayes which a National Trust property near Tiverton. For those who enjoy knitting like me, there's a lovely wool shop in Cullompton. Sorry I forgot to leave a review in the Guest book. Thank you for letting us stay, we'd love to return. Tracy and Paul
Thank you so much Tracy! It’s so lovely to hear when guests have had such a lovely time. My husband will be glad to hear you loved the radiators - his idea while I gulped!! Look forward to welcoming you back sometime. Amanda Property Owner

-
"Superb cottage."
The moment we walked in, we felt at home. The cottage was beautiful, spotlessly clean, exceptionally well equipped and, the touch of a Christmas tree and decorations, was a lovely surprise. It's lovely location and the quietness was a welcome treat, from the bustle of Christmas. The proximity to the M5, means all parts of Devon are accessible. The kindness of dog treats, was a huge success with Reggie, as was the enclosed garden area at the back of the cottage. We would love to come back.
-
"I booked this for my sister and brother-in-law who were over from New Zealand for Christmas."
They couldn't fault the cottage. My sister loves baking and found everything to hand in the kitchen, and instructions for every appliance. It was cosy and comfortable and the Christmas tree and personal greeting set the seal on what was a thoroughly enjoyable stay.

"Absolutely stunning stay!"
! The Xmas touches made to the house were so beautiful. We’ve stayed before at this property and would happily stay for a third or even fourth visit! A massive thank you to the owner for letting us have a delayed departure time due to the snow and ice! We felt very well looked after! Thank you

"First Class Facility, just the same as the photographs"
-
"A beautiful cottage in a beautiful setting, we had a lovely stay and would go back again."
The location is handy for the M5 and visiting all over Devon, the cottage has all the essentials you can ask for and is beautifully decorated and clean! Thank you xx
-
"This was a fabulous property."
We think it should be rated 5 star! As soon as we walked in it felt comfortable and clean. We loved the attention to detail in the decor and extra things provided for our dog such as the bowls (handy if forgotten!) and the treats and ball for her. Very quiet location with friendly neighbours. Loved sitting in the garden with a glass of wine enjoying the peace.
-
"We were blown away with this cottage, it was immaculately clean and equipped with everything we neededand more."
On arrival we were greated to afternoon cream tea and even the pooch had a bowl of treats. The garden was private and safe for our 12 month old pup. I could go on and on about how amazing this place is but I still would not be doing it justice. Ideal for a relaxing family break or as a base to get to some amazing places in the area.
-
"Thankyou for our lovely stay in the cottage."
It was clean and well equipped. Our need were met.
-
"Loved this cottage, just perfect !"
! Loved all the little goodies on arrival. Spotlessly clean and equipped with everything needed. Would certainly recommend and Co-Op if just 5 mins away if you need anything :) Neighbours really very helpful as well - thank you :):)
-
"Great place to stay to explore Devon from, cottage is just as nice as it looks in the photos!"
Very clean and welcoming (especially the cream tea on arrival!). Thank you for a lovely stay!
-
"We had a wonderful stay at Pumphouse Cottage, it’s beautiful picturesque surroundings were perfect but also not a far drive away from places to visit like Exmouth Beach, Topsham, Tiverton etc, this was great for us as we love quiet tranquil settings but also like to get out and about with the children and our dog."
There were all the facilities we could possibly have needed within the cottage plus more, the little extra touches like some tea bags, coffee and milk were a wonderful welcome so that we had a nice warm drink upon arrival, not to mention some beautiful scones with jam and cream, that was just a perfect start to our holiday. The cottage itself is beautiful, (love the kitchen, it’s given us ideas for our own), spotlessly clean and rests within a private dwelling, absolute heaven for us! We would definately love to come back again.

The cream tea was a delight! Communication was excellent with the manager. Super comfortable, quiet, beautiful place to be.
-
"From the moment we arrived with a friendly greeting from Steve and the neighbours everything was above and beyond what we expected."
The cottage was immaculate with scones, jam and clotted cream, milk, a bottle of Prosecco waiting. The bathroom was equipped with toiletries and the bedrooms a chocolate on every pillow. The whole experience of pump house cottage and the area with great recommendations from Steve was fabulous. We will definitely be returning to explore the area some more.

"When we arrived at Pumphouse there were homemade scones clotted cream and Jam."
Bottle of prosecco and a case of pink roses, what more could you ask for! The owners went even further with ensuring that a little bit extra is really appreciated. Bottles of hand sanatizer, luxury hand soaps, bath and shower gels. Even provided kitchen towel, washing up liquid, washing tablets, foil, clingfilm and dishwasher tablets. I would recommend Pumphouse to anyone, fantastic stay.
