"Lovely property in a superb location close to the town."
A lovely welcome pack with beautiful goodies all very welcome. The accommodation was lovely and clean, laid out on 3 floors. Perfect for a family stay. We were a group of 4 ladies and found the stairs a challenge but that’s just us.

"We enjoyed our stay."
Really well appointed. Plenty of room for a family of 6 adults and 2 Children. It was a shame the two single beds on the first floor and the double bed on the second floor were really uncomfortable. The drapes and curtains need attention. Rather expensive

We will of course take on board your comments and look into this as the beds were recently new so should be comfortable and we want to ensure our guests are completely satisfied with their stay. "Hamilton House turned out to be the perfect place for our two-day family stay."
It was comfortable, un fussy but also homely, nice bedrooms and bathrooms, lovely living room to congregate in and all in all everything we could possibly need. We were delighted with the lovely bag of local goodies - such a welcoming surprise. The only tiny thing I would say is that a bit of salt, pepper and sugar would have been useful but we survived without! One bit of information I couldn’t find was what to do with the bedding when we left. We stripped the beds we used and hope we did the right thing in leaving it in a pile on the floors of the rooms. I’d like to thank the cleaner who called me to say I had left my medication in the fridge - that was a life-saver.
Thank you so much for your lovely feedback and delighted you had a wonderful stay at Hamilton House. We look forward to welcoming you back again soon! Best wishes Rachel Property Owner

"Great house, very clean and perfect location."

"We stayed for a long weekend in May."
2 families with small kids. Amazing location, super close to the beach, pubs and shops. The place is lovely, the 2 double bedrooms and a main bathroom are very spacious. Kitchen & dinning area can get a bit crowded, especially as it's by the main entrance, it can get filled with boots and beach equipment quite fast. But we didn't cook very much as fish & chips on the beach were much better. It is also an old house, so do expect uneven squeaky floors and minding your head when walking through some doorways. Overall nice, well equipped place.
Thank you so much for your lovely feedback, glad you had a wonderful stay at Hamilton House and we look forward to welcoming you back soon! Best wishes Rachel Property Owner

"We had a lovely week in Hamilton House."
The location is fantastic. It has great sized bedrooms and a very comfortable living room. If I was picking holes, there were a couple of nails sticking up on the kitchen floor but we had no injuries from them. Our only real disappointment was we stupidly left all of our toiletries, electric toothbrush etc in bathroom. After speaking to lyme bay holidays they said they would look for them and they could send them to us for a charge of £15 which we were very happy with and since then we have heard nothing. On the whole it was a very successful holiday
It's so great to hear that you had a great holiday at Hamilton House. Thank you for making us aware of the nails sticking out of the floor, our team will take a look. The Lyme Bay Team Property Owner

"We loved the house but there were a few things that were disappointing."
Only one side of the oven was working and some of the lights weren’t working. One mattress has springs poking out of it. Fortunately we had one spare bed so we used a duvet to cover it so it wasn’t too bad. We then read a review that said this back in 2021 so would be good to address this. Some of the pillows need replacing. All that said we loved the house and the location. We did ask if we could stay a little later as to be out by 10 when expected to empty bins, strip beds etc seemed a little unreasonable.

"Lovely historic building which had been superbly kitted out with everything needed for our stay."
Great location a short flat walk to the sea front with lovely restaurants and walks near by. Only downside was that the stairs were a bit tricky for our 85 year old grandparents! Thanks so much for making our time in Lyme Regis so special.
