  • "The appartement is very nice, comfortable and clean."

When we arrived there was milk in the fridge, cookies, chocolate, tea etc., which we enjoyed a lot. The description for check-in was perfect. It would have been helpful to have some information about the parking situation, to know where long-term parking is possible. The sea-view showed on the picture is the view from the upper terrasse, from the appartement you have got only a small section to see the sea. But we enjoyed to be very near to the seafront and spent some restful days .

  • "We loved our week in this delightful apartment!"

It was in a perfect location and was beautifully decorated and had everything we needed. Great welcome pack!! Our only issue was with the key safe.. Didn't work!

  • "We absolutely loved it here."

We wouldn't hesitate to return. During our visit we were blessed with a late season heat wave so the roof terrace was so lovely to sit in lovely peaceful surroundings. The apartment is bijou but beautifully furnished and spotlessly clean. The location is just perfect and surrounded by lovely pubs and restaurants and only a stones throw from the beach. Thank you for the lovely welcome pack and for having us, we'll be back!

only point was the parking. Parking permits would be good . we had to pay the £16 for the day car park charge at Monmouth free of an evening but we had to get to the car by 8am to pay for next day And very busy as high season when we visited so spent quite a while waiting for a space to become available. Which was quite stressful

  • "A lovely apartment in an excellent location."

Great outside space. The living area was a little dark but overall had a really enjoyable stay, really good welcome pack even though we were only staying for a couple of days. Will definitely book to stay here again.

  • "The property is tastefully decorated and is a lovely place to stay ."

It’s close to restaurants and local walks . Despite being close to pubs it was never noisy in the evening . The mattress could do with replacing - bit like a water bed

  • "The apartment is finished to a really high standard and is ver comfortable."

The outside is pleasant but is in need of a little trimming of some of the plants and maybe a wash down. We cleaned the furniture ourselves and it was fine. It would be nice to have a table and chairs on the top deck as would be handy to eat up there with the lovely view. The only downside is it is a little noisy with people going to and leaving the pubs just below the bedroom window. All in all lovely though.

  • "The apartment was really clean & fresh , ignoring an old sweet wrapper under the bed ."

.! Modern and beautifully appointed , the bed was very comfortable. The 'extras' were appreciated ! Not the fault of the owner at all but our stay was marred by somoene living nearby listening to loud music from late in the evening until bang on 1am .. every day. A great location ..couldn't be closer a selection of bars and restuarants and the beach. You can park for free overnight at the very nearby Monmouth beach car park with charging starting at 8am. All round excellent

Thank you for your feedback, I have spoken to the cleaner and mentioned to the neighbours about the music. Property Owner

  • "First time to Lyme Regis , what a gem!"

Excellent location for popping in and out during variable weather!. So much to explore. We left the car in the long stay Holmbush car park for the entire 5 nights stay. Very good bathroom, the best . Pleasant styling throughout. Kitchen would benefit from having a long shelf above sink area, to put things whilst preparing food etc. Didn't try the Nespresso machine as pods provided not compatible, shame . Marked down on cleanliness as some of the crockery not clean, obvious dried egg etc. but we found the dishwasher to work very well . More teaspoons and knives, dessert spoons.would have been useful. The TV only had limited channels available on free view even with a retune and the internet channels took a while to set up for the new? router pass code. This was useful to view some of the missing freeview channels Beautiful view from top terrace, sadly only one afternoon good enough to sit out . A shrub on way up somewhat overgrown . Nice goodies left , thank you , we really enjoyed our stay.

Thank you all your comments, I will address the cleaning issues and note teaspoons etc and shelf. Property Owner

The TV internet didn't work, upstairs noise from floor boards and people moving furniture really not good, will not recommend this for others as nice location and good flat but upstairs noise and no internet was particularly off putting and I know what my friends like and if you are going away for a relaxing break it isn't hope this helps Tina

We have hopefully resolved the internet issues, sorry you didn't enjoy your stay. When the work was done on the properties we tried to be mindful of insulation between the floors sorry this was not sufficient for you. Property Owner

  • "The white goods instructions would be more helpful if all together in guests info handbook instead of scattered in various unrelated cupboards."

Think some anti slip mat would be useful in shower as it is very slippery. If a light sleeper be aware , bare floorboards in both flats . Also car park could add over £100 to holiday. But fab location and town . Thank you

  • "Lovely little property and would definitely stay again."

I did have massive trouble opening the front door. The bottom lock was fine but I fiddled about with the top half of the door for about half and hour before I got it to open. After that I only locked the bottom section. If there's a knack to it, I'd like to know next time! I also thought the towels were quite small for a bathroom. Fine for me, but maybe not for a bigger person. I also didn't realise there would be any kind of welcome pack as it wasn't mentioned in the property details. It was very useful but most properties do seem to list what they put in it, which would be handy. Very well equipped and the upper terrace with the view was lovely. Really enjoyed my stay - thank you.
