"We have been staying in Malborough for many years."
Very happy with sunny breeze, lovely light airy and clean. Convenient for our local regular haunts.
We were not bothered about the parking issues.
Just found the sofa and chair uncomfortable otherwise a fab stay.
Thank you , would book again regardless .
Glad you enjoyed your stay. Will have a think about the chair and sofa. As it's a sofa bed, which we use when our family stay, it's not always easy to get one that works well as one or the other. Will see about changing next season.

"We really enjoyed our stay at Sunny Breeze."
It was very clean and comfortable.
We were concerned before our arrival about the car parking situation as described but we had no trouble finding places to park on the estate.
There are some lovely walks in the area, the local Church is very welcoming and the buses to Salcombe and Totnes are regular, reliable and friendly.

"Car parking extremely difficult."
Had to walk a long way to unload my car, and I am 86. Master Lock at the front door very difficult to open. No heating on for my arrival. Sink draining in the bathroom did not work. Opening the conservatory doors was frightening to do, as the centre strut had no support.
Have left a note for the caretaker.
Sorry that you had problems. We have changed the sink plug and key box and serviced the French door. Parking is tricky but if you park temporarily at the end of the cul-de-sac there is a wheeled trolley inside the front door which you can use to unload your luggage to the house before finding a parking space.
The heating is a storage system with back up, oil filled radiators.

Plenty of good walks and convenient for the bus, we never used our car all week, good pub in the village and shop. Thank you

"Lovely little bungalow in a very quiet area."
Clean and comfortable for our needs and our little dog was welcomed too. Had to park a little way away so a bit of a trek with cases etc but that was explained beforehand.
We could not find the key to the back garden door initially but after several phone calls back and forth to Sykes, a spare was located.
Unfortunately on our day of vacating, I opened the freezer (not sure why as had not used it all week!) and it was so iced up, I could not close the door again. I had to leave a towel down with a note for the cleaner - this probably should have been checked beforehand and defrosted as needed.
Additionally, we could not work out how to turn on the hob part of the cooker as there didn't appear to be any instructions. All other appliances worked ok though.
Overall, a very nice stay in a lovely part of the Country.

"Opening the door and entering was a wow experience."
The property was perfect for me and my pet anda conservatory and its location at a quiet end of the estate a bonus. Level walking distance to the playing fields (with children's play area), shop, bus stops and footpaths to the countryside. Closest parking was on estate roads about 75m from the property and sometimes further but this didn't pose a problem as once parked I didn't use the car much. I would certainly stay here again.
Thankyou for your lovely comments. We are glad that you had an enjoyable time. We had a new booking straight after your post.

"Parking is a problem, a few times I had a problem getting out of the parking place I found as other people parked so close to the back of my car
Other than that I had a great stay."
Sorry that you had trouble parking. Most of our neighbours are considerate but there are always a few that are less so.

"We absolutely loved the property."
We were very aware of where it was as my Nan lives on hurricane green also. The property was very clean and had everything we needed. There was a couple of dishwasher tablets and tea, coffee, sugar & milk when we arrived which was a lovely touch. And some dog treats for our dogs which was a nice surprise. Overall we had a lovely stay.
The only thing I’ve marked down on is comfort. This is because the sofa in the lounge was quite uncomfortable. The beds were ok, but they could have been better. I would say the bunk beds were actually more comfortable than the main bedroom. However this probably wouldn’t stop us from visiting the same property again. Just due to value for money. Especially in the school holidays.
Glad you enjoyed your stay. Beds and sofas are tricky to suit everybody's taste but happy that they didn't detract from your stay.

"Sunny Breeze is a very well equipped and imacculate place to stay for a week."
Ideal enclosed garden at the back for the dogs. Only a few minutes walk from the village and the bus route. Definitely stay here again next time I visit the South Hams.
So glad that you enjoyed your stay and many thanks for your kind review.

"Have had a lovely week at Sunny Breeze."
Total peace and quiet. Only downfall was the fire alarm which kept going off and I needed to call the maintenance people to come and fix but as I was alone it wasn't an issue. Beautiful coast line nearby and a pleasant little walk through the woods behind the property.
Glad that you had a good time.so sorry about the pesky smoke alarm. Do hope that our lovely maintenance team sorted it out for you swiftly.
We set it off once by not closing the hall door and overcooking the sausages

"The bungalow was as described and lovely and clean."
The hot water though only trickled out the taps, so it was just as well there was a shower and also a dishwasher to use. The real problem was the smell of damp in the main bedroom, it was really strong over the last 3 nights and we had to use a spray to try to mask it. It was coming from the cupboard in our room that has the water boiler I think. The back garden was ideal for my 2 little dogs too run around and be safe. All in all it was a lovely area to stay in.
I am so sorry that there was a problem with the hot water. We have had an electric pump put in so it should be fine. Will get someone in to check it.

"Wonderful cottage perfect for a break with the dogs."
Very modern and clean, everything you need. (They thought of everything!) Parking is a little difficult but not really too much of a problem to walk. Lots of places to walk, we walked into Salcombe which saved on parking! Wi-Fi good. Would be happy to return! Thank you
So glad you enjoyed yourselves. Parking can be a challenge in the evenings, there is a car park just across the field if all else fails.

"A nicely appointed cottage."
Facilities were excellent, with everything thought of. Great location for exploring that part of Devon. Dartmouth and Salcombe were very dog friendly, as were a lot of the beaches. Food and service at The Old Inn were good also.
All in all we had a great stay. Thank you to the Muirs.
