We had a lovely week in the Hayloft the hospitality was second to none, with a great welcome pack to.
Everything thing was catered for, with plenty of space for our 2 dogs and 3 humans to rest after our daily travels around the Cornish countryside. Needless to say we'll be looking to return here again soon.
This is a comfortable cottage,one of 3 terraced properties in a beautiful location.
this cottage is run by an extremely helpful and friendly lady called Linda. This is a terrific place to use as a base ,while checking out the area surrounding bodmin moor.
Two adults and two (very important) dogs in The Hayloft.
This “upside down” cottage is very comfortable, with a great view out across Bodmin Moor. Lounge with two armchairs and a sofa, plus a well-equipped kitchen with a dining table on an open plan the top floor. Downstairs, there is one twin bedroom and one double bedroom. The bathroom with toilet, basin and bath with shower over completes the downstairs area. Outside the front door (upstairs), there is a small, paved area with a picnic table, benches and outdoor seating. There is also a rotary clothesline. Linda greeted us and showed us to and around the property and would have been happy to tell us some of the places to visit. I explained that 50 years ago I lived in the area and knew my way around. Linda lives in the farmhouse 50 yards away and told us to let her know if we needed anything or if there was a problem. There are three or four places of interest to walk the dogs within ten minutes’ drive of the cottage and it is central for most places in Cornwall. In addition, the field opposite the cottage is dogs to have a walk/run/sniff or just do the “essentials”. This was very important as one of our dogs likes to run and needs an enclosed area to be let off the lead. Personally, this one of the better places I have stayed. For us with dogs, it is THE best. We have already booked for next year.
