  • "We had a lovely stay, We had no facilities to eat there so we had to eat out everyday."

We were told we would be given plates, bowls so forth but wasn't so got very expensive as we had taken food to cook. On the 2nd morning of the stay I nearly fell as the decking was so slippy by the toilet. - weather was rubbish so having to walk from the car park with all the luggage was difficult would of been a lot easier to park next to the lodge. Grass was really long meaning our feet got soaking. Was a very clean lodge. It was a lovely place for our little sausage dog. We had a brand new shower and water pressure was lovely. There is a window in the shower and people can see right in so go careful this happened to me in the shower very embarrassing! Signal isn't great around the area for EE Or O2 so would have been nice to have a little Tv or something for entertainment in there in the evenings. It's a good place if you're just using it for somewhere to sleep and if you have pets.

Thank you for your review. As explained upon check-in, the crockery , cutlery, pans and washing up equipment were to be in the washing up room next to the bathroom. By the time I had returned with these items you had already unpacked the car and left the accommodation in a space of 20 minutes. If on your return late that evening or the following morning you were unable to find the equipment provided you would have been more than welcome to contact us on one of the two telephone numbers you were given , one of which you used to let us know of your early arrival. I'm very sorry that the decking was so slippery , this is very difficult to control in wet weather. I am afraid we have no influence upon the weather and it being a glamping site rather than a hotel or cottage the pods are surrounded by grass and although the grass had been cut it remained wet. You were the closest pod to the car park , some 50 metres away, so not too far to walk and we do suggest that suitable footwear is brought with you. I am glad you found the bathroom to your liking but find it difficult to understand anybody looking in the window as it is at least 9 feet up from ground level so a ladder would have been needed, that being said we will fit some opaque glass to avoid any doubt. We do not have the best signal in the area but the farm and hydro unit both use EE and O2. I cannot comment on evening entertainment, that is something we leave to the guests disgression. I can only hope our pod served its purpose of you visiting family in Liskeard and am glad we were able to help out at the last minute after your first choice had cancelled your booking.
