"Another great stay at the lodge."
-
"A lovely peaceful cottage with everything thoughtfully provided."
We didn't need the heating as the cottage was warm and light which meant if there was any sun the warmth was enough. It is remote but a Lidl nearby and a well stocked shop attached to the garage just up the road. Probably advisable to bring essentials with like bread and milk with you although the village comunity shop opens each day if you run out. If you need to switch off and imurse your self in nature it's ideal.

"Parking was very tight by the house and not for those with a large car."
The road to the house was steep and single track. Nether of these were mentioned. Oven didn't work and grill was poor. Radiators didn't heat up fully despite being turned up to dry washing. A lamp would have been nice in the living room for more subtle lighting. The property was immaculate, comfortable and well equipped.
I did offer to come and check the oven when you emailed me during your stay, but received no reply. The oven does work - the oven switch goes one way for the grill and the other way for the oven. Regarding central heating, this is not ideal for drying clothes. If the lodge reaches the temperature set then the radiators will go off and come on again when the room temperature goes below the selected temperature. Thank you for your comments on the property as a whole. Property Owner

"It was a pleasure to stay at the Forest Lodge."
The directions provided were very helpful. We loved how peaceful, quiet and green it was. Birds flitting around, the views so calming. A tranquil retreat after a busy day exploring. The beds were comfortable, as were the sofas and the kitchen has everything you need.

"We had a very comfortable stay at Forest Park Lodge, the lodge is spacious and has everything you need for a short break."
The mattress and pillows were the best so we had a wonderful sleep and woke rested for our next days adventures. The lodge is located so you can visit lots of places/costal villages etc. without having to travel too far. We would defiantly book again and recommend to family and friends :)

"Wow what a beautiful place to stay Clean peaceful environment Only ..."
Wow what a beautiful place to stay Clean peaceful environment Only criticism was cigarette ends thrown on ground against patio doors outside And grass needs more maintenance 10 out of 10

"Fantastic retreat great location very comfortable will definitely book again."
Only criticism is no blinds in either bathroom and extremely creaky upstairs floor boards wakes everyone up if you need to use bathroom in the night. If garden area was tidied up it would be perfect secluded holiday home.

"Lovely and cozy house perfect for a couple or group of 4 ."
Me and my friends wanted to go away for a short time to North Devon as it was our last holiday together before University. The house is located in a stunning area surrounded by nature .It was perfect for going on walks but it’s far from town centres, shops , services etc. There are a few pubs nearby which are small drives away but we decided to walk it (20-30 mins). Apart from having troubles with starting the oven on the first day, the house was a perfect place to come back to after going out everyday. It had very comfortable beds ,pretty views from outside , it was clean and perfect size for us.It was also a good and affordable price too ! Overall , our 4 night stay couldn’t have been better.

"Excellent stay except for flies having windows and doors open never seen so ..."
Excellent stay except for flies having windows and doors open never seen so many flies although fly killer was there I think something needs to be added about flies because if the lake and trees around x
Sorry you had a problem with the flies it isn't normal, but I have noticed it is especially bad this year in the woods in the area. I checked with the people staying there now and they have had no problems so you must have been unlucky with the weather driving the flies inside. Property Owner
