Dartmoor View

Dartmoor View is a perfect property for a base to explore Devon , clean modern plenty of room for a family of 4/5,fantastic location, you feel like you’re in the middle of nowhere but it’s easily accessible from main roads.

Great views and sunsets, you can sit on balcony and watch horses and dogs. Overall highly recommended will definitely be coming back next summer.

Dartmoor View is a spotlessly clean, well equipped and comfortable lodge.

Combine this with the lovely views and peaceful location, it is the ideal place for a relaxing holiday. The owners do their utmost to ensure you enjoy your break at their Lodge.

There are 2 dogs loose on the property which are lovely and friendly but one of our party was scared of dogs so felt on edge and uncomfortable when needing to go outside ( they weren't a problem but had we had known we wouldn't have chosen this accommodation ) Thank you pat for a lovely peaceful time the cake and wine went down a treat

The property was exceptionally clean and comfortable, with everything we needed.

The owner was friendly and helpful. The views from the decking over dartmoor were lovely and it was a great location for sight seeing.

Dartmoor view is a gem of a property,great location on the edge of Dartmoor,reasonable price ,great views , easy road access, very clean and plenty of space for families.

Brilliant if you like to watch horses in surrounding fields.

We had another wonderful stay at Dartmoor View.

The location is great & the property had everything we needed. The shower was good with decent pressure & the property was cosy when we got back from wet walks on Dartmoor! The only downside was the ramp up to the house was very slippy.

Perfect holiday if you’re looking for peace and quiet.

Perfect area for sightseeing, easy access to Torquay, Brixham, Plymouth and many others and it was a delight to see the horses each morning. We will be booking another break there in the future.

This was our second visit to Dartmoor View and as before we had a lovely relaxing week.

We have just enjoyed a week a Dartmoor view, the accommodation is one of the best we’ve ever stayed in!

It really is a home from home, it’s very well equipped and very comfortable. The welcome gifts were very much appreciated after a long drive. The views are spectacular from the decking, the children loved to sit out there watching the sunset. Dartmoor view is the perfect base for exploring Devon, we visited Fingle bridge, lydford gorge, Blackpool sands, torcross beach, exmouth beach, Paignton and woodlands theme park but there is so much more to see in the area

This was one of the best holiday rental we have ever stayed in.

Everything was there that you needed. Peace and quiet in abundance and the best nights sleep we've had for a while!! Even a TV you could see!! Outstanding views and the weather was unbelievable. Definitely worth another visit.

A fantastic property that was plenty big enough for 4 adults sharing.

Well equipped with stunning views across Dartmoor. The owners are really helpful and friendly and helped us feel very welcome. It was perfect for us to spend our days out and about and then settle down in the evening to a meal and board games. It is worth knowing there is nothing ie shop, pub in walking distance which might worry some people. If you want quiet and relaxing this is definitely a place to stay.
