"Lovely view."
Great location for the shops, restaurants, harbour and coastal walks. Property is a little dated but very comfortable. Parking is a nightmare in Dartmouth - we took our smaller car, an Audi A3 which we managed to squeeze into the garage. Alternative would have been the park and ride out of town or shuffling around between the various town car parks which are all short stay. I would recommend this property.

"Such a beautiful location, very comfortable home and convenient for all the local facilities, the garage is a bit too small on the opening for a bigger car so we used the car park at the bottom of the hill and just drove the car up to load up, the hill is very steep which i welcomed for the exercise to work off all the lovely food but I do think people with small children or less mobile people would struggle however the view from being up the hill made our holiday all the more special, to wake up to that every day was amazing, I would 100% stay here again, the town has so many amazing little independent shops, restaurants, take aways, pubs and a coop right at the bottom of the hill for the essentials, we visited 4 more towns in devon on our stay but nothing came close to the beautifulness of dartmouth, the bedding and the towels all very nice and clean, we couldn't fault anything."
thanks for a lovely holiday

"This property is so stunning, I can't wait to book it again for next year as soon as the owner puts the dates up."
The scenery from every window is breathtaking. We didn't watch much TV, we didn't need to. The property was clean to a very good level & had Everything you need for a good holiday.

"Just had a wonderful relaxing week in Dartmouth at 21 Above Town."
What a superb apartment, spotlessly clean and with an exceptional view of the estuary. No need to worry about the smart TV just watch the view there is always something going on. A definite plus is garage parking which is a real bonus in Dartmouth. The garage is likely to be a pretty tight fit for larger cars but it was fine for our Mini. Probably about 2-3 inches to spare either side of the wing mirrors. Anything bigger best to check the exact size with Sykes before hand. Overall a great place to stay and I'm sure we will be back.

"We always stay at this property, however, the bedsheets are clean but the pillow protectors smell very badly of sweat and when warm smell even worse."
The pillow protectors need to be changed every changeover. When removing the bedsheets, I did remove the protectors in the hope the next people staying get clean ones. I have mentioned this previously and am mentioning it again.

"Really enjoyed our stay."
.. Great Views :-) Just a couple of disappointments... The Garage is very difficult to get a car into unless its small. This could be made easier with a 'frameless garage door' adding 6 inches to the width. The bedroom curtains may as well not be there. They don't stop any light entering the rooms and because the bedrooms get the full sun as soon as it rises, the bedrooms are in full daylight from 5am. There isn't a hair dryer? Very unusual. Apart from these niggles, the house is close to town and very comfortable. We enjoyed our break.

"Quite outstanding location overlooking all the activities on the water ."
Ferries , yachts, naval training boats , pleasure boats etc. Across the water the stream railway is seen and heard while at night Kingswear could be on aGreek isle . Downside was the extremely steep road ,or 94 steps ,, to all the numerous restaurants and pubs. .

"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in the apartment."
Great views from the the balcony. The one thing we thought would be a very good addition is curtains or blinds for the patio doors, it would be more comfortable for people if they could have some shading from the sun when sitting inside if they need it. Having a garage for one car was a blessing.

"Our 6th visit to no."
21 and very lovely as always.

"Superb views across the river."
Property is well kitted out with all you'd need for a self catering holiday. Only problem is parking and a very tight squeeze into the garage. You can get a parking ticket if you park outside, even if you are not on the double yellow lines. Did not detract from a very enjoyable stay in Dartmouth.

"The main problem with 21 Above Town is vehicle access."
Adverts for this property should really point out that it is only suitable for visitors with one small car. In addition, our garage was blocked off by other peoples cars many times. Not much can be done about this second point, but it did detract from our enjoyment of the holiday.

"The bedroom curtains were very thin and the sun shone right in making sleeping after sunrise difficult some black out linings would be a welcome addition."
The garage parking was very tight and a slightly big car than ours would not have been able to get in. I think this should have been made more clear in the information. The bedding was very good but as we were lucky enough to have great weather the duvet was very warm . Overall we had a great time and the views were fabulous.
Many thanks for taking the time to leave your feedback. We are so pleased you had a great time, those views really are something. We can only apologise that you found the parking tight, we will ensure the measurements for the go on the website to stop this happening in the future. Many thanks for your comments on the curtains we will certainly pass this on to the owner. We do hope that we can welcome you back to the area soon. Property Owner
