"A well-equipped, comfortable house in great location."
Lovely views from the front and easy to access all the local attractions. However, I would agree with some of the points raised in previous reviews, which could be easily rectified and would make this a 5 star property: no instructions left for the various household equipment (eg. various Sonos speakers), lack of rubbish bins, microwave still doesn't work (see previous review) and reported to Sykes again. A folder of household and location information would have been useful.

"Fabulous location."
High quality fixtures and fittings. Spoilt a little by the construction/demolition work at a neighbouring property where noise and building works restricted our time on the fabulous rear patio. We are advised owner was unaware of this and hopefully should just be a few months of disruption so would revisit next year I agree with other comments about the lack of storage in one bedroom which could easily be remedied by a set of drawers and we could not get the microwave to work and did report it to maintenance. Getting through to Sykes is a nightmare. Waited over an hour for a response to a simple query. Overall a lovely holiday, a fabulous property in a great location

"The property was excellent and we all had a wonderful stay."
The location could not be bettered and we are already planning a return visit next year. However, we would offer the following observations: An instruction book detailing how to operate various appliances and sound systems would be helpful. One of the downstairs bedrooms only has hanging space, no storage drawers whatsoever. There were no waste bins in any of the bathrooms. A property of this standard should have better quality clothes hangers.

"Fabulous accommodation in a brilliant location within a few feet of the river and marina and providing level access to the shops and restaurants."
Vehicle access to the garage looks problematic on first view but, after doing it once, it isn't difficult. Furnishings are good and the decor is tasteful. The balcony gives access to outside space but we did find the cooking smell from the nearby pub a little pervasive later in the day. There was just one small down point regarding the facilities which was a lack of a mattress cover on the bed in the first floor bedroom but this should easy to remedy.

"The shower surfaces are dangerously slippery- I think it’s only a matter of time before someone slips and falls ."
We stopped using showers because of this . Front door is very difficult to open a close - my wife battled here - needs adjustment. Some minor decorative issues in main en suite . Great location though

"Had a fabulous week in this stunning property, the facilities are quality and luxurious."
We can’t believe how lucky we were to find this place. Having its own garage and a high rise deck with seating is a huge plus. The photos don’t do this property justice it has stunning view to the front of the property which pulls you away from other distractions. Cleanliness to a high standard. Good quality bedding. We arrived after key collection time at the agent but having notified in advance the instructions for key safe communication was clear and easy to follow. Dartmouth and it’s surrounding area is a great place for all to visit. We will no doubt be back. Lovely beautiful property in a fantastic town.

"We had a wonderful week staying at Aloft in Dartmouth, despite the wet weather."
The house was extremely spacious and beautifully furnished. It had a very well equipped kitchen, although we did notice that the internal cutlery drawers were not being utilised. The sound system in the house was excellent and we loved the art work, as well as the views, which were incredible.
