"The Nest was generally adequate for our needs although lacked some cutlery ie: only the teaspoon."
The ad did mention third floor accommodation but the 49 steps to get there would be testing for most. Parking in Dartmouth is very difficult if you want to leave your car for a couple of days without use. There is nowhere that offers 24 hour parking!

"We enjoyed our stay, great location, although disappointed with the parking situation, no parking permit and lots of restricted parking in Dartmouth until end of September."
Had to park in park & ride which wasn’t very convenient. There were two light bulbs not working (one in kitchen & one in bedroom) plus only one teaspoon provided & no tall drinking glasses.

"I would have liked a saucepan or 2 to use ."
Everything else was brilliant, the bed was really comfortable and we had a fab nights sleep.

"We had a wonderful stay at the Nest."
The property was immaculately presented with lots of lovely little touches (loved the towel and loo roll art!). Bed was super comfy, bathroom was clean and serviceable. The property was very central, on the doorstep of cafes, pubs, restaurants and shops. The living room also offered a lovely view of the harbour. The Nest is located on the top floor, it was a trek up the flights of stairs with our cases but did not cause a significant problem, although this might be problematic for those with mobility issues. All in all, a super, relaxing stay in the most gorgeous part of Devon....loved it!

"Lovely place to stay whilst visiting Dartmouth, right in the centre of the town, not far from anything, beautiful decorated, clean and comfortable!"
Will absolutely be staying again! Thank you!
-
"We really enjoyed our 3 night stay at The Nest."
It’s lovely and quiet and yet only a stone throw from the harbour - you can watch the boats coming and going and see out to sea. We enjoyed walks along the coast and the estuary and coming back to a light, spacious and comfortable apartment with some lovely finishing touches.

"What a lovely holiday property which immediately felt like home."
We had the best time despite the weather! It is in the perfect location for days out, restaurants, shops and pubs. I can highly recommend this property and we would not hesitate to go back. Even though it says there is parking it is very restricted. We found it easier to use the Park and Ride car park rather than keep moving the car. We paid using the app every morning so didn’t even have to get out of bed!

"We had a wonderful stay in the nest and the location was perfect - right in the centre of town and a 30 second walk from the harbour."
The layout of the apartment was also very nice and spacious for the two of us. The decor was beautiful and the place was very well cleaned. In general the facilities were very good but one possible improvement would be to leave washing machine tablets as we were given dishwasher ones instead when there is no dishwasher.

"Personally we would have prefered a sofa that you could rest your head on, rather than one that is cut of at the shoulder."

"The property was lovely."
Very modern decoration, clean and spacious. Unfortunately my husband had been in hospital shortly before and the 45 steep steps were a struggle. The only slightly misleading bit was the on street parking. There were double yellow lines in front of the property and parking was for up to one hour. The nearby carpark was for up to 4 hours. We ended up using the park and ride car park 5-10 minutes away.

"Very lovely and comfortable place."
Right in the heart of the town.

"A really beautiful bedroom."
Super comfortable bed. Lounge okay. Very clean. Good location. Nice kitchen. Would ideally have liked a dishwasher, due to covid still being around. However, fully understand the lack of room for one.

"Lovely cosy property in centre of town with better views of the river than expected."
Well maintained and scrupulously clean. Very comfortable bed too!! Perhaps more comfortable seating in living room would be considered as the 40+ steps up to the property took their toll on my poor old legs!! Will definitely be back though.
Paul, thank you for your feedback and we love to hearing guests enjoying Dartmouth and our nest! We've taken your feedback on board and now swapped the sofa to a softer option which we hope will add some more comfort. We'd love to host you again and hear about your Dartmouth highlights :) Best wishes, Olly and Georgie Property Owner

"This property was extremely clean and well maintained."
There was a lovely view through to the River Dart and Kingswear. A great location for the town for the shops and restaurants and river for ferries and boat trips etc. Will be rebooking this property.

"Fantastic compact flat, beautifully decorated with a double aspect (view) of Dartmouth harbour and the town (if you use the skylights)."
Right in the centre of Dartmouth with easy access to ferry’s, shops and more importantly pubs. Even happy to contend with the 48 steps up to the flat!
