  • "Daisy is a lovely place to stay."

Bright, well equipped and very comfortable and complete with nautical decoration by artist Paul Barclays. The garden is beautiful and the setting relaxing. Work at the farm was ongoing but didn’t impact the loveliness of our stay. The owners were thoughtful and friendly welcome plus goodies, sweet peas and checking on our comfort we’re the icing on the cake. A perfect place from which to explore and in which to relax. Thank You.

  • "Just back from a lovely week here."

The property is spacious, better than the photos show as the views from the huge kitchen window where you sit and eat are amazing. Its really comfortable and very well equipped, the washing machine has meant I haven’t come back with piles of washing. Off the beaten track and private in an quiet location, we didn’t want to leave.

  • "Had a wonderful week at Daisy."

The owner was very welcoming and the cottage had everything we needed. Loved having the lounge and kitchen upstairs - we were very comfortable and relaxed there and often sat out and had a drink in the evening on the patio . An ideal place to explore Dartmouth, Totnes, Kingsbridge and many beaches within easy reach. We would love to return.

  • "Lovely cottage in quiet, peaceful location with plenty of outside space to enjoy the evening sunshine."

Cottage had a well stocked kitchen to help with evening meals, great wifi and plenty of dvds to keep us entertained. Perfect location for exploring Devon, either over to Dartmouth or across to Plymouth. Perfect stay for family of four with older kids as there was great spaces to be together but opportunities to be apart too! We would recommend.

  • "Daisy is a lovely, quiet cottage (well, apart from the lovely background sounds of cows in a nearby field), ideally located with Dartmouth a 10-minute drive and Salcombe less than half an hour away."

The owner could not have been more accommodating, and the beach recommendation in particular was fantastic. It's a lovely part of the world and we'd definitely stay in the cottage again, or the one opposite which I'm sure is equally nice. We had everything we needed.

  • "The cottage was perfect, the situation wonderful and the owners friendly and helpful- all you could wish for."

We’d happily go there again or recommend it to friends. However I wish I could say the same about my dealings with Coast and Country, a.k.a Sykes. I booked this stay pre-pandemic and carried it over for a year. Sykes’ reputation in dealing with pandemic refunds etc. has been well documented in the press and from that and my experience with them I’d be loathed to use this company again. Pity that they use the name of Coast and Country cottages and a greater pity they bought out this small Devon firm with a previously excellent reputation.

  • "The cottage had everything we needed and was very comfortable (we slept like babies all holiday)."

We were lucky with the weather and just walked and had some outdoor meals (yipee) and really enjoyed the space. Its a beautiful part of the world especially at this time of year when it is so quiet.

  • "Daisy cottage gave us a wonderful weeks holiday in early October."

This ‘upside down’ cottage gave us the full benefit of the rolling Devon countryside from the living area. The cottage was spotlessly clean and very well appointed with all the necessary equipment and more besides. The living area with its log burner and comfy sofas meant we could truly relax and chill out. The bedrooms had extremely comfortable beds with plenty of storage and the bathrooms were very also well appointed even having their own embroidered ‘daisy cottage’ towels! Outside and around the cottage there were plenty of shrubs and flowers and it was so nice to hear the birdsong and watch the cattle in a nearby field from the outside seating areas. Our hosts were lovely, keen to pass on local information and most happy to help if we needed anything else (not that we wanted for anything!). All in all, a lovely relaxing stay in the Devon countryside, only a few miles from the beach, Dartmouth and Totnes and we would love to return to this beautiful barn conversion again!

  • "Our holiday had a shaky start as we were unable to take up the full week due to personal reasons."

We were offered a week the following year but with costs and an increase in 2021 rates we decided to take the few days we could, not knowing our whereabouts the weeks offered next year. The few days we had were lovely the owner is a wonderful home owner and helped with map planning etc. It is a truly beautiful part of the world.

It is extremely well presented and equipped with everything needed for a comfortable enjoyable stay. The owner was lovely. She came and gave us lots of information about the area and the beaches. She recommended places to eat, although due to covid restrictions, bookings were not easy. Overall, we had a lovely stay and would definitely go back.

  • "We loved Daisy Cottage and the beautiful surrounding area."

So peaceful which was just what we wanted. Great location for visiting all of the South Hams area, though we would say more like a 15 min drive down to the seafront at Dartmouth. Sainsburys supermarket about 4 miles away plus leisure centre and park and ride. The owners were so helpful in giving us ideas where to go and the cottage was just so well appointed, with such attention to detail. Plus they were such a welcoming couple,we felt so at home we would love to return.
