"We enjoyed our stay and the hosts were very welcoming."
The cottage was spotlessly clean and well equipped. Thoroughly recommend it. We would certainly return. Thank you

"Is no mention that it is an annexe until later in description, and that it is so close to main cottage."
Patio disappointing. Wouldn’t call it a patio, very tiny part of pathed area. The photo of it is very deceiving, as it is totally overgrown, and doesn’t have a view through to main cottage garden as it does in photo. . The positives are it is very modern inside, and to a high standard inside, and very clean

"Lovely cosy and comfy little cottage."
Really enjoyed our stay and wouldn't hesitate to book again. Previous comments mentioned traffic noise from nearby road but we didn't notice this. Thank you Sue and Peter.
Thank You for your feedback, we are so pleased you enjoyed your stay, and glad the weather improved a little for you. We look forward to welcoming you back again at some time. Property Owner

"A very well kept cottage where everything is clean and works well, also well equipped with everything you need."
The owners were easily contactable and gave us all the info we needed for a relaxing holiday. Having Sky TV helps with the days when you don’t fancy going out. Good location for exploring Somerset and Dorset. The Sykes website shows the wrong location for the cottage, it’s on the opposite side of the road (if you’re searching for it in the dark!)
Thank you very much for the fantastic feedback. We are so pleased you enjoyed your holiday. Property Owner

"A quirky property with the sitting room upstairs with lovely views and fresh air via large Velux windows."
Plenty of parking. Excellent kitchen facilities. Central to lots of interesting towns, National Trust properties, theatre and walks.

"Our stay at Dalegarth was very disappointing."
The cottage description is misleading when it says Dalegarth is within Ilton village that is some distance away. Instead it stands on the edge of a surprisingly busy B road. Less than a mile away on the other side of the cottage is the Ilminster bypass. Excessive road noise from both roads meant that the location of Dalegarth is not ideal for a relaxing, peaceful holiday, quite the reverse. The cottage itself was clean and well equipped. I regret having to write this review but when I choose a holiday cottage, I rely on honest reviews.
