"COSY COTTAGE WITHIN A WELL MAINTAINED GROUP OF COTTAGES."
THE POOL IS MORE THAN ADEQUATE. LOOE WITH ITS BEACH AND HARBOUR IS A SHORT CAR OR BUS RIDE FROM GRANITE HENGE. ALL IN ALL THE STAY WAS VERY GOOD.
Thank you for the kind review we are glad you enjoyed your stay. Regards Sandra Property Owner

"We had the best time at the lodge it was perfect so peaceful."
The only thing I’d say is the single beds are not very comfortable. We’d definitely come and stay there again but hopefully they will replace the mattress on the single beds before we do . The cream tea on arrival was very tasty too . Thank you so much xx

"Beautiful little bungalow with everything you could need."
Lovely to have milk, tea, coffee , scones, jam and cream as a welcome on arrival. There is a good selection of games and books to keep all the family entertained as well as a TV, radio and free Wi-Fi. There is small table and chairs and a bench for sitting outside beside the bungalow. Only couple of slight issues, the bath towels supplied are rather on the small side so hubby was rather glad I had packed a larger one. The double bed mattress could do with replacing. Could do with a hook by the door for wet coats. None of this spoilt the enjoyment of this lovely property, The complex is extremely well maintained and peaceful ( although we were there before school holidays so that might make a difference) Lovely pool which although I did not actually go in I enjoyed relaxing in the sun beside it. The complex is well situated for driving out to other areas and very handy for Looe. There is a bus stop outside. There is a lovely little village , Pelynt, just a few minutes drive away with Spar shop and a nice pup, Jubilee Inn. We used the pub for breakfast on the day we checked out to come home but they do light lunches and are about to start full meals soon. The week after our visit was vacant and we were soo tempted to book it rather than go home but sadly commitments did not allow for it. Would highly recommend this bungalow.
Thank you so much for your kind review. Your suggestions have been noted thank you .We hope you return . Property Owner

"We found badger set very nice."
It had everything we needed for our stay. The beds were very lumpy and uncomfortable but I guess that’s due to the constant use. It was clean m. The location was great. The only thing letting the holiday down was the horrendous weather, such a shame as we didn’t get to enjoy the pool. We will be back and hopefully the weather will be better. Thank you
Thank you for your input .We look forward to your return. All the best Sandra Property Owner

"The cottage was all that we’d hoped it to be."
Totally equipped. The location was central to where we wanted…close to Looe and to Pelynt. Car parking was on site with one space but had two spaces for visitor short term parking. Did not use the swimming pool but looked inviting! Well recommended holiday break.

"Very convenient location."
Fairly well equipped and comfortable cottage. Added bonus of pool, but chairs at pool were not very comfortable and could have done with cushions. Generally a good experience.
We are glad you enjoyed your stay.We will talk to the management about the pool chairs .All the best Sandra Property Owner

"Badges set was delightful and we enjoyed our week very much, the swimming pool was an added benefit as it was a hot week and lovely to come back and have a dip to cool off."
We had no complaints about the accommodation and the surrounding grounds. The only thing that may have helped wasif the garden was suitable for eating outside, but really it was beautiful and well provided equipment wise and excellent condition and very clean and comfortable. s
We are so glad you enjoyed your stay and managed to make use of the outside swimming pool . We have now provided more outdoor seating nearer the property thank you for highlighting this issue. Kind Regards . Badgers set Property Owner

About the location
LOOE
Polperro 5 miles.
Looe is Cornwall’s second largest fishing port and hence there is always a lively maritime bustle around the quay area of East Looe, which is connected to the quieter West Looe by a seven arched 19th century bridge over the River Looe. You can also catch the river taxi between East and West Looe. East Looe has narrow cobbled streets, twisting alleyways and plenty of tourist shops, whilst West Looe has a lovely outlook across the harbour. Looe’s viewpoint, Banjo Pier, can be reached from the quay and is a great spot to watch the returning fishing trawlers and look across the bay to Looe Island, which can be walked to occasionally at very low tides. The sandy Looe beach adjoins the pier and is very popular with families because of its safe shallow swimming and vast expanse of sand. There is also a great rock pool area at Hannafore that children will love. West Looe has a Heritage Centre that recently opened in the Old Sardine Factory with a climbing wall and a cafe and the delightful Kilminorth Woods have way marked walks through the majestic oak wood, rich in plant, insect and bird life. Apart from beach activities in this part of south east Cornwall, there are many mining remains on Bodmin Moor and in the Tamar Valley and much of the mining landscape has World Heritage status. This area of Cornwall has inspired writers, such as Daphne du Maurier and much of Bodmin Moor has inspired legends linked with King Arthur. There is much to explore in this beautiful part of Cornwall.
