"Chalet in vg condition."
Site very dated in appearance but individual unit very comfortable and a good base from which to explore the surrounding countryside and coast.
Thank you for your positive feedback. We're glad you enjoyed your stay. Property Owner

"The accommodation was very modern and had everything we needed."
There’s plenty of space and storage which was great. A nice bonus was having a tv in the bedrooms. Quiet location within easy access to beaches and shops. Would definitely recommend this property. The only one negative was, a couple of the white towels were badly stained so we didn’t use these.
Thank you for recommending our chalet and we're glad you enjoyed your stay. We're very sorry about the stained towels and have spoken to the owner of the cleaning company. This was clearly a mistake as stained laundry should not be used. If guests have any issues during their stay, we would encourage them to contact Coast and Country, so they can sort them without delay. Property Owner

"Dirty property in need of maintenance"
Thank you for your feedback. We're sorry to hear you weren't happy with the property. Guests are invited to fill in a feedback form for the cleaners, but you didn't do this, and the cleaning company has only had positive feedback. The owner of the cleaning company inspected the property as soon as we received your feedback to check that the cleaners had been doing a thorough job, but it had been cleaned to a high standard. We are also wondering what the maintenance issues you mention are, so we can put them right. Normally guests would contact Coast and Country if there are any problems with the property during their stay, so they can deal with things immediately. Coast and Country attempted to contact you so we could find out what the problem was, but you didn't respond, so unfortunately we are none the wiser. Property Owner

"Lovely accomodation was a great bolthole for our week exploring Dartmouth with two young children."
Also having large green space on site to have a run around on evening on site was great, which also had lovely views over Dartmouth. Accommodation had everything we needed and was very clean and tidy. Also handy having both petrol station, Lidl and Sainsbury's very close by really handy. We did notice the shower occasionally leaked at the back and it leaked under the wall in the lounge, although easy to clean up and only happened twice.

"We had a wonderful stay."
There was only 1 slight objection to class it a perfect stay and that would be having no WiFi. Had there been children staying in the lodge this would probably cause issues. Unfortunately due to hip and knee problems the sofa was too low for me to sit on but at least I could use the dining room chair. It would not deter us from returning at a future date though.
Thank you for your feedback and apologies for the delayed response. We were waiting for Coast and Country to check the WiFi was up and running first. There is now a good signal from the router. Unfortunately we can't get the TV to work as a smart TV, but there is an HDMI cable to connect it to a laptop. Macs will need an adapter. I'm sorry you found the sofa too low. That is helpful feedback and when the time comes we'll replace it with a higher one. Property Owner

"Overall had a lovely stay, as there's no WiFi it would be good to have a bus timetable to hand."
Although we ate out most of the time the chalet was well equipped and we had everything we needed. The doorstep was a bit iffy, could do with a wider step.
Thank you for your feedback and comments. We have only just taken over this chalet but we plan to get WiFi installed when we visit at the beginning of June. We'll also get a bus timetable and have a look at the doorstep. Property Owner

Dartmouth lies on the banks of the beautiful River Dart estuary in the popular and picturesque South Hams area of South Devon. Located within an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and close to the coast, Dartmouth is one of the most popular tourist destinations in Devon. It offers a stunning waterfront, ancient narrow streets lined with boutique shops, restaurants and art galleries plus many local events such as the annual Dart Music Festival and the Port of Dartmouth Royal Regatta, along with the Dartmouth Food Festival held every October. There are many interesting cycling and walking routes around Dartmouth, including the South West Coast Path, the Dart Valley Trail and plenty of quiet country lanes. A trip on the Dartmouth Steam Railway through picturesque countryside to Paignton is a must, and so is a boat trip across to Kingswear and on to Brixham, a pretty little harbour town. For those seeking some beach activities, there is a wide choice in the South Hams area such as Blue Flag Award winner Blackpool Sands, and Slapton Sands, both extremely popular and just a stone's throw from Dartmouth. A relaxing location in South Devon.
