  • "PERFECT… beautiful place to stay!"

We stayed for a week for my husbands birthday. Perfect location for exploring the local area, Bude, Port Isaac, Boscastle and Tintagel. Accommodation had everything you could need for a comfortable stay, beautifully decorated, lovely kitchen with every plate, pan and utensil needed to cook your meals. Bathroom lovely with a lovely hot powerful shower and very comfy beds fit the perfect nights sleep. The lounge area was cosy with a nice sofa area and smart TV with numerous channels to take your pick from. We had the best stay. Peace and quiet, away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. There’s a lovely pub, a 10 minute walk away that serves an amazing Sunday roast (try it…so good). We will definitely book again as we had the best stay. Thank you!

Thank you for taking the time to leave such a lovely review. We are really glad you enjoyed your stay and hopefully we will see you next year! Property Owner

  • "Disappointed with the cleanliness of the accommodation due to attention to detail by the cleaners."

Yes a lot of people with pets use the site but no excuse for the amount of dust and lost toys found behind furniture along with house hold rubbish. Lawns not cut so granddaughter who is under one could not be played with out side. The only place available to top up meter was only open to 18:00. We had to drive to the places shown in the folder provided.

Thank you for your review and we are sorry that your stay has not met the high standards that as owns we strive for. I wish your grievance had been brought to our attention during your stay and we could have tried to rectify them at the time to improve your experience. The accommodation you stayed in does not accept pets so I am not sure why there would have been any dogs toys? With reference to topping up the meter I am sorry you even had to do that as we include this in your stay and again if we had been made aware during your stay we would have topped it up for you. The properties description clearly states that this is a base to visit the local area and not that everything is with in walking distance. It is a quiet and we think beautiful site/accommodation to relax in after a busy day out. Property Owner

  • "Cottage is very good, comfortable, adequate for a small family, kitchen have all the utensils, nice scenery outside."

Easily accessible from the town of Bude, we enjoyed well with family, the nearby sandymouth beach is a must visit place. The only thing that I found difficult was the parking, most of the time it was full, but other than that overall a very good experience

Thank you very much for your feedback, we are glad you enjoyed your stay. Property Owner

  • "15 The Park is a great location not too far from the carparks."

Use the top one. It has recently been refurbished to a high standard and has everything you would need. Lovely touches such as milk, tea and coffee left for you and hand wash in both kitchen and bathroom sink which you often don't find. Only slight issues for us was the hardness of the mattresses' I had even brought a topper as I suffer with my back but this was not enough and would need a much deeper one to be comfortable. Also not a lot of leg room from toilet to wall. But I would recommend as a great place to stay and we enjoyed it. Great hosts who have thought of just about everything including wifi.

Thank you for your kind feedback. We are glad you enjoyed your stay. Property Owner

About the location

KILKHAMPTON

Bude 4 miles.

Kilkhampton is an historic Cornish village, 4 miles from the popular Victorian seaside resort of Bude, one of Cornwall’s premier holiday locations. With its old church, village shops and atmospheric village pubs, Kilkhampton is a lovely place to relax after a hard day exploring the stunning beaches and spectacular coastal scenery for which the area is famous. Bude’s beaches attract surfers from all over the country and when conditions are right you’d be hard pushed to find better surf. When the tide is out, miles of golden sand and hundreds of rock pools keep visitors occupied for hours. The South West Coast Path, and many other rights-of-way winding over the clifftops and through lush green fields looking out over the sea, make this area a haven for walkers and lovers of the open countryside. For those who prefer staying closer to home, a good shopping centre and a selection of pubs, two clubs and restaurants are on offer. Bude canal, a registered nature reserve, passes through the town, and rowing a boat along its calm waters or walking the towpath among the beautiful (and friendly) water fowl that live among the reeds is a great way to spend an hour or two. Within the area there are also 2 golf courses, an indoor swimming pool, bowling alley at the leisure centre. A perfect location for all that North Cornwall has to offer.
