  • "Lovely accommodation ideally located for exploring the local area."

Thanks for your feedback, we appreciate you taking the time to share your experience with us. Your idea of that our ‘lovely accommodation’ only rated such low performance percentages was a bit of a surprise when compared to all our other guests but each person has their own unique idea of what they expect from a holiday let. Our ‘ ideal location’ certainly is a great feature that seems to be appealing to our guests. Property Owner

  • "Fantastic accommodation with stunning views of the river and town scenery, well worth a visit lovely towns and great owner!"

Thanks for your fabulous feedback! By rebooking several times we knew you were really enjoying our apartment but to give us 100% for all the elements of Sykes feedback criteria is something we strive for but never expect! The views from the top floor over the town, estuary and coastline are always appreciated by our guests and having a table and couple of comfortable chairs to be able to sit and enjoy it seems to make the most of them! Fabulous news! It’s great to see that you gave us 100% for cleanliness, comfort and our facilities. We work hard to ensure guests have a ‘great stay’ and our welcome package seems to have hit the spot again. Our location near the town centre and the beautiful beaches seems to have added to your holiday and we look forward to welcoming you again soon! Property Owner

  • "Apart from a problem with the key-lock entry code, and my un familiarity with the central heating control, we had a great time, and everything was to the same standard, as our Sykes holiday, last year !"

We had good, friendly communication with the owner !

Thank you for the high scores you gave us for all of elements of our provision. It’s very helpful to know that we are able to provide you quality of care our guests expect from their stay with a Sykes holiday. I was happy to help you with your queries about the entry code and the central heating system and to solve them quickly. Lovely to hear that you had a great time! Property Owner

  • "Tony the owner was in contact with us from the very start and gave us lots of useful information about the local area etc."

Everything you need is in the property. Great little touches like beach towels and a lovely welcome pack which even included the local paper. Easy walking distance to the beach, harbour and all.the shops. Lots of lovely places to see within an hour drive. Lyme Regis and Paighton Zoo were our favourites. Only a couple of slight niggles, think we only managed to park twice in a week on the road outside. No big drama though as we found parking round the corner and this does not affect your stay at all. The other thing is larger towels for the bathroom. This is just personal preference and again will not affect your stay. Thank you again Tony

Thank you for your positive thoughts and feedback on your experience of staying in our apartment. It is very important for us to know if the extra little touches are appreciated and it’s gratifying to hear that they are! We only get one chance to make a good first impression and we really do our best to ensure you feel comfortable and at home during your stay. The location is certainly a great place to be able to make the most of South Devon’s many attractions and it’s always useful to hear our guests favourite places. The many leaflets and brochures we provide are designed to encourage guests to maximise these opportunities while they can. I will get some bigger towels the large ones could be bigger, although the beach towels are extra large and can also be used instead. Thanks again for your help in ensuring that we are able to continue to develop our service to our guests. Property Owner

  • "Absolutely lovely, we enjoyed our stay so much."

The flat was very clean and the beds and sofa was really comfortable. There could have been a couple of games for the children has the ones there were for older children and adults and could have done with a washing machine as well. But overall the flat was amazing and Tony was very welcoming.

Thank you for taking the time to provide us with your feedback about your recent stay with us. It is great to hear that you enjoyed your stay with us. You are one of the first families with older children to stay with us so your idea about the suitability of the games we provide is very interesting. I had thought that this age group would have been too involved with their phones to be interested in board games but I will try to find some more suitable games that would interest them. I was advised that a dishwasher and tumble dryer were more likely to be used than a washing machine when we set up the kitchen especially as we have a laundrette two minutes along the road but I will bare it in mind in the future. Great to hear that you felt the flat is amazing and absolutely lovely. Wonderful to hear! Property Owner

  • "A very lovely 3 day break."

The flat was very comfy and had all that we could ever need available to us. It felt very homely. Loved sitting in the bedroom window with a cup of coffee. We enjoyed the position of the place with a 5minute stroll into town or across the bridge to get to Shaldon. Parking was fine, not a major hassle at all. I found places on the road but car park 50 yards away if needed. Thank you Tony for your hospitality

Thank you for your feedback it’s great to hear that you felt at home in our apartment. The location is clearly great for a visit to Teignmouth or Shaldon particularly if you prefer walking around on your exploration of the locality. Although a few guests have had some difficulties finding a parking space nearby it’s good to know that you found it no ‘major hassle at all’. Great to hear that the facilities we have provided were both comfortable and comprehensive. The views of the estuary, the sea and the busy harbour and beach can certainly help to while away the quiet times when you feel the need rest and relaxation. The table and comfortable chairs certainly help to ensure a coffee break can also be another enjoyable experience for our guests. A positive feedback like this helps to ensure that we’re able to focus on continuing to provide our guests with the homely atmosphere our hospitality is designed to provide. • "The owner lives nearby and is happy to deal with any queries and is anxious to ensure you have an enjoyable holiday."

All in all a very pleasant break. Parking a bit of an issue but that appears to be a Teignmouth problem not just this property.

Thank you for your positive feedback on your recent stay with us. I am happy to help with any questions our guests might have about the apartments or the area, especially if this ensures they have a very pleasant break. Teignmouth is a lovely old seaside resort that certainly wasn’t designed for the amount of cars we now seem to enjoy. The unrestricted free parking around the area means that at busy times sometimes guests may have to use one of the three car parks within two minutes of the property. £1.00 for evening and overnight parking seems reasonable compared to what I have been charged in some in south Devon hotels but most people do find a spot on the roadsides. The personal touch is one that helps our guests make the most of their stay with us and is a useful feature that our comprehensive information folders and personal availability aims to provide. Great to see it resolved your queries and resulted in another 5* review! Property Owner

  • "Great location."

10 mins walk from harbour, town, Station & Lidl. Comfortable large Lounge, Kitchen & Bedroom. Kitchen very well equipped. Small bathroom with small shower cubicle. We enjoyed our stay & we had a very good holiday. Thanks.

Thank you for your positive feedback and reflections on your holiday. The location is certainly a great asset to the property and many guests are able to walk into town, down to the beaches or go out for the day without having to drive. The local bus service runs past and several visitors who travelled down by train used it to visit Dawlish and other local attractions. We have worked hard to equip the kitchen with everything you might want to make your holiday a pleasant experience and we are finding that those guests who don’t want to make use of the nearby takeaways or restaurants are able to cater for themselves using quality equipment and crockery. The large comfortable lounge with its lovely leather suite and dining area, alongside the Smart television and its wide choice of channels hopefully make a night in as enjoyable as possible. Thanks again for taking the time to feedback why you enjoyed your stay with us so much! Property Owner

Thanks for your feedback Bill, we are pleased you enjoyed your stay with us this autumn. It can be difficult to find a parking spot outside the property particularly when you arrived a on Sunday. Hopefully you were able to find somewhere on the road just around the corner and didn’t have to use the local authority car parking at the end of the road. We hope to see you again soon. A very well equipped kitchen and the large TV in the lounge offered streaming options such as Netflix in addition to the normal terrestrial channels. There were various goodies in the flat to welcome us and the owner was local and easily contactable for any queries. He also owns the ground floor flat in the building, which would make it ideal for a larger group stay.

Thank you for taking the time to leave us a review for our new venture.
