"We enjoyed our week at Honeysuckle cottage very much."
A lovely cottage, cosy, welcoming and clean with thoughtfully stylish decor. The garden is beautiful with different tiers and we enjoyed sitting out on the better evenings. Well equipped and Caroline was very helpful. We managed to park in the village car park but more confident drivers would manage the designated space. Walkable to a couple of great beaches.

"Honeysuckle cottage is a charming cottage with the most beautiful view of the church tower."
It is very well provisioned with lots of detailed information. We had a lovely relaxing stay, the perfect place to visit lots of local places, Hope Cove, Bantham, Salcombe, Kingsbridge, Bigbury, Milton Sands etc. we were lucky with beautiful weather and we couldn’t have hoped for more. The only slight drawback is the parking, you need to be confident with reverse uphil parking into sometimes a tight space and a couple of times we parked by the church. This was not a problem for us but a consideration for someone not confident with parallel parking on an incline. This did not detract from our holiday and we would love to go back. Thank you.

"Beautiful Location in a quite area, with beautiful views of the countryside and church."
Easy short drives to beaches and towns great position with lovely garden. Well maintained and cared for.

"The cottage was lovely , clean and well equipped."
However I struggled with the parking arrangements and the sharp gradients around the cottage and on its approach. . I don’t think that “on street parking “ adequately describes the parking arrangements particularly for someone like me who now has problems with carrying and steps and uphills . . I didn’t have these medical issues particularly when I booked last September but if the descriptions had highlighted the issues I would have had to revisit the booking in the light of problems in the last 6 months . The parking in the lane was particularly difficult but I did eventually get the hang of it !

"We really enjoyed our stay in Honeysuckle cottage!"
The property was clean, comfortable and has a beautiful garden. We felt that a lot of effort had been made to ensure guests had a relaxing time, which we did. We were also blessed with gorgeous weather, which was also perfect for exploring the area. Thank you!

"A tiny but beautifully appointed cottage."
We were luck with the weather and spent a lot of time reading in the garden, which was glorious. A very relaxing stay. We had a great meal at The Village Inn, Thurlestone.

"A real gem."
We had an amazing holiday here at Honeysuckle Cottage. Bit of a mission following the recommended route to the property, but we found the best routes pretty swiftly. Parking was interesting on some occasions as the available closest spots were occupied, but we just parked in the place shown in the Handbook and walked through the churchyard. No problem. The cottage is exceptionally well equipped with good quality items. I did think it was a bit "over labelled" at first, but everything is there to point out what things are/where recycling goes, be aware of potential fire risk. We did find it helpful - specially the padded covering near the window in the bedroom! We could so easily have bumped into something on our way to the window for the stunning view. The cottage was really clean and tidy with what must be the cleanest cooker in any holiday let that we have ever used. It was good to see Eco products for our use and plenty of extra recycling bags etc. Everything has been very well thought through to make the best possible use of what is basically quite a small cottage. The garden is just wonderful. People in nearby cottages were lovely. We felt welcome. Thank you for letting us stay here.
