"A lovely place to stay on the edge of Dartmoor."
Well equipped, comfortable and cosy. The owners were extremely welcoming, helpful and hospitable. Highly recommended! Be careful on the track down to the property, I wouldn't want to attempt it on a motorbike again!
-
"Beautiful place peaceful and restful."
Amazing hosts really lovely people. Definitely return in the future

"Lovely tranquil spot perfect for peace and quiet at the cottage and also ideally situated for exploring Dartmoor."
-
"A wonderful little place to relax in the countryside."
We really enjoyed our time here. Very clean and comfortable. Plenty of walks to explore the local area accessible directly from the front door. Bring wellies if you're visiting during wetter months!! Lovely touches left for us on arrival: flowers on the table, a cream tea and prepared for us and excellent bacon and eggs for breakfast. Anna the host was really friendly, helped us with advice for the area and made sure we had everything we needed. The property is linked directly to the hosts own home - this was not a problem at all but important to note if you're looking for total seclusion.

"We had a really good time in this comfortable cottage."

"We travelled from the Netherlands and had an excellent 2 week stay."
The annex is very clean and comfortable and indeed has everything you need. Some essentials like coffee, tea, milk, washing up liquid etc are provided to start you off with. Plenty of towels as well. We were greeted by Anna, who had made a cream tea to welcome us and showed us around. From the description we could not work out if there was a separate bedroom and living room and found it has one main room with extremely comfortable bed at one end with rack and coathangers and chest of drawers, no wardrobe, but we did not miss that. At the other end is the living room and off this a separate kitchen and bathroom. Decor and furniture in the main room have slightly changed from the photos shown, but improvement with cosy curtains. Personal preference would be to also have some window blinds in the bathroom and the kitchen. It does get extremely dark, if you are lucky, you can see some wonderful starry skies. The annex is on a working farm, (mind Mac the lovely friendly dog and the cat!) and it is set in beautiful surroundings, which you are welcome to explore. Good walks nearby, in no time, you are on Dartmoor. We also had outings to other parts of Devon and also to Somerset and Cornwall. To get to the annex you do have to go down some narrow lanes in the middle of nowhere, but once you know, it is easy to find. Also nearby access to main roads, that will take you anywhere you want to go to in the South West, as the annex seems centrally placed. The owners Anna and Charles are excellent hosts and very friendly, generous and helpful, without being overbearing or interfering and you do feel that "Lillemor" is yours for your stay. Many thanks to you both and greetings from the Netherlands

"Anna and Charles are wonderful hosts and couldn’t have been better!"
They ensured we had everything we needed for our baby prior to our stay, including going out and getting a baby bath which was so helpful! We loved coming back here after a day of exploring Devon as it was so homely and cosy!
Thank you so much. Really pleased you had a good time, as it was your first family holiday with the baby. All the best Anna and Charles Property Owner

"I was initially surprised and just a little disappointed on reading the full address once the full payment had been received, as I had thought from the description that the property was nearer to Chagford."
However, despite the relatively close proximity to the A30, the road noise could not be heard from the house itself. I found the studio perfect for me and felt very at home there. The furnishings and equipment are perfect in every way. I was able to walk locally four of the days that week, only using the car on two days to get a little further afield for walks. That part of Dartmoor exceeded my expectations, having walked in other areas this certainly is my favourite to date.

"We drove past the gate twice before going in to find we'd arrived."
The owners were very friendly and generous with produce. The cottage is newly built and well-appointed. Outside, the dry ground was rutted, so walks within the farm were not easy going, but the weather was unusually hot. We had an excellent few days, despite the narrow roads thereabouts

"Me, my partner Sarah and our French bulldog Chico were in need of a break from the hustle and bustle of city life so booked 2 nights at Holland Farm Park."
We were greeted by Anna who made us feel very welcome and showed us everything we needed to know. The facilities were perfect for our needs, very comfortable, clean, and everything you'd need for a comfortable stay was supplied including clean towels, a very comfortable bed, tea, coffee, cutlery, even fresh scones with butter and jam on arrival! Once we were settled we took a walk around the farm and took in the incredible scenery. Anna and Charles invited us to go and feed the pigs in the evening which was a real unexpected highlight for us! And also for our dog Chico as he got to play with Mac (Anna and Charles' gorgeous Spaniel. Anna was always there to help when needed, she even talked us through directions to various locations for a day out the next morning. When we got back from put lovely day our at Proper Job (re-use and recycling) and Okehampton Town where we had coffee, cakes and visited many charity shops for some bargains.. We returned back to the farm with some burgers from the butchers in Okehampton as Anna has told us we were free to take the barbecue up to the pond previously, so we did! Anna prepared fresh Salad for our burgers which tasted incredible and was very much appreciated as all we had bought was some cheese. We ate our burgers next to pond in glorious sunshine over looking acres of beautiful countryside until our fair skin meant it was time to retreat indoors. We spent the evening having a family nap time and watching the sun go down over the hills. Also one thing I'd highly recommend to anyone staying here is stargazing.. The night sky is absolutely unreal on a clear night and I wish I'd have had chance to enjoy this properly. Almost forgot. We were gifted a baby oak tree by Anna! Which we will plant and watch grow as a beautiful reminder of our break. Throughout our stay we were made to feel as though the property was ours to enjoy and can't say enough positive things about our experience. For our first ever holiday with our little dog, we had just the best time. Thankyou so much Anna, Charles and Mac! See you all soon and take care. Dan, Sarah and Chico.
Thank you so much for your lovely review. So happy that all three of you enjoyed yourselves. Looking forward to meeting you again. Hope the Hen Night was fun, Sarah and that you enjoyed being the designated driver Dan! Good luck with the house and garden renovations. All the best Anna and Charles. Mac sends special greetings to Chico. Property Owner
