"Great location, house had everything we needed."
Loved the garden.

"We love 24 Mill Green and it feels like a home from home."
It is always scrupulously clean and well provisioned. We appreciate the little updates and alterations. The welcome pack is always quality (the coffee in particular is fantastic) and the games get well used. The only thing we could possibly suggest would be to bring back some books, which sadly disappeared after Covid. We wouldn't hesitate to come back, both the cottage and Lyme Regis are wonderful.

"We were very pleased with the delightful cottage and especially with the garden and new part of the kitchen and new fridge which made catering much easier!"
We hope to book for a 6th year!
Thank you for your feedback and we are glad that you like the changes I have made to the garden and the kitchen. We hope the lavender bed and the rose arch sets off the garden beautifully. Property Owner

"Beautiful cottage with plenty of room and lovely garden."
Really appreciated the welcome hamper, thank you. Only notes would be that although there are ample plates, glasses etc, we couldn't find any placemats. It would be great to have some. The bed was comfortable but the pillows definitely need replacing as they are all really lumpy. Other than that, great location and we would certainly stay again.

"Lovely home away from home."
Great location just a short walk into the centre of town. Amazingly well stocked house, with loads of towels, kitchenware, a high chair for baby. Would definitely return.
-
"Love the house, its size and position."
It’s our second year here and we do really like it. Beautiful garden. The bathroom is super tired and quite mouldy. The lack of working plug sockets is difficult when you have 5/6 guests. Lack of coat hangers for the 5 of us meant that I had to leave my clothes in my suitcase. Amazing location and really well stocked with crockery etc. x
I have personally sorted the bathroom back to immaculate, and the plug socket issue has been remedied in each bedroom. I have put quality coat hangers in each room and new rose arch I garden and lavender beds all along top patio! Property Owner

Another lovely week spent in this cottage, we had some pleasant country walks from the cottage and early morning swims on most days (it's ideally placed; a short walk to the beach and out of the main town area)

"We really love your cottage and hope to book for a 5th year."
The garden is especially pretty; the view from the kitchen is spectacular! I would love a working electric point in the larger bedroom on the top floor, I had to dry my hair in the kitchen! I do hope you continue to let your delightful property as it really contributes to the success of our holiday! Susannah Clarke
Thank you for your kind comments, we're so pleased that you love the cottage. We have arranged to take a look at the electrical socket in the bedroom. The Lyme Bay Team Property Owner

"Cottage is undersold with the pictures."
It's much nicer in reality. Lovely property and everything we needed. Maybe waste paper baskets in the bedrooms for tissues etc. Other than that, felt really homely and so useful having a second loo on the top floor. We used the games a lot as weather was awful! Would return again.

"Lovely cottage in a great location."
Well furnished and had pretty much everything we needed. Welcome pack was very good.

"Please could you reimburse the £50 bond given to you for the safe return of the car park token."
We loved the cottage and especially the garden. It is one of the nicest cottages we’ve ever rented from Lyme Bay Holidays.

"Nice cottage in a quiet part of town, but close enough to the beach etc."
The double doors to the garden was very nice. Having 2 sets of keys was very useful - it should be mentioned in the description. A lock on the top toilet door would be useful.
Thank you for taking the time to leave a lovely review, we are pleased you enjoyed your stay. As it’s a family property, we have chosen to keep the bathroom door lock free to prevent children getting stuck in there. Team LBH Property Owner
