"Shell Cottage is a beautiful little property, in a stunning location."
Its 'high end' feel, from the gold finished taps to the comfortable pillows, make for a relaxing stay in luxury. Louise, the owner, is the perfect host and such a lovely lady. She goes above and beyond to make you feel welcome and nothing inconveniences her. We will definitely be returning to this gorgeous little retreat, hopefully soon! 5* for the property, and 5* for the host.

"What a lovely place!"
The decor is very stylish and all facilities were exactly as described. Louise is the perfect host adding extra touches - milk in the fridge and a few other supplies were very welcome after being stuck in traffic during our journey.
Shell Cottage is in an great, quiet location for exploring the local area and the Dorset coast with the added bonus that Alum Chine beach is only a few minutes walk away.
Highly recommend!
Such a lovely couple and left the cottage so tidy always welcome to explore hidden gems

The accommodation is exactly what you see in the pictures and very comfortable. The host is super friendly with lots of advice on what to do and sets you up with a great food hamper of lots of useful items!

"10/10 Luxury accommodation with everything you'll need for a fantastic stay."
Absolute 5*, the decor is plush and premium. Every little touch was calming and luxurious. Louise is a lovely lady, so welcoming and friendly. Anything you need or help she was always able to help us with never any problems. I would recommend anyone visiting the area to stay here, you will not be disappointed. Thank you for a fantastic stay.

"We partly chose this accommodation as it stated off road parking."
We were initially asked to park on the road but later on Louise was happy for us to use the electric gated driveway, which we really appreciated.
The property was brilliant and the decoration was a little quirky which we loved and to a very high standard. On arrival we were greeted by the host Louise who was really friendly and helpful. The welcome pack was amazing too. Louise couldn't do any more to help with our stay and provided some really useful local knowledge.

"It was easy book that Shell Cottage on Sykes Holiday web."
Cottage was good , like new accomodation , clean ,tidy with big TV and many channels on it . All inside was same like on pictures .
Location is very close to sea , no any car parking issue .
Also house keeper Louise was helping to us regarding cottage equipment and local area . Thanks

"This exquisite studio provided excellent facilities."
Finished to an extremely high standard with everything you could ever need for a relaxing stay! Enormously big comfy bed. Quiet location within easy reach of local beach and a short walk into Bournemouth along the promenade. Host Louise, was extremely helpful, friendly and accommodating. Nothing was too much trouble. Attention to detail extended to a well thought out welcome pack, fridge with essentials plus wine along with fresh bread and biscuits. We had the most relaxing stay and will definitely return. Would highly recommend for any couple looking for a well earned rest and relaxing seaside stay! Thank you very much

"We had an absolutely amazing stay at Shell Cottage."
Honestly, it was even better than many hotel rooms in Bournemouth. Everything was finished to such a high standard – from the incredibly comfortable mattress and quality bedding to all the thoughtful little touches throughout the studio.
The cottage was also incredibly quiet and peaceful – we couldn’t hear a thing, which made it perfect for a truly relaxing break.
The host was fantastic, so friendly and always on hand if we needed anything, which made the whole experience even more relaxing.
The location was perfect – just a 5-minute walk to the beautiful Alum Chine Beach, and we also enjoyed walking up to Westbourne for shops and a wander.
We had such a lovely mini break here. The cottage is beautiful, cosy, and well cared for. We would definitely stay again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area!
