Lovely cottage in a good location (do visit the mill close by which was terrific) with thoughtful interiors touches like the antique porcelain displays and artwork.

However it was badly let down by poor maintenance. We had real issues with both of the showers and the cleanliness of the carpets especially in the sitting room which smelled strongly of dogs. We also managed to collect lots of dog hairs on our socks. If these were dealt with then a good holiday cottage.

This is a lovely property in a great location within Lyme Regis, situated within walking distance from the sea front, all the town’s amenities and a car park where you can leave your car.

I would stay here again and would happily recommend it to family and friends! Just one small maintenance issue to report: The downstairs bathroom gets a bit damp when the shower is used. I have stayed in this cottage before and not noticed this issue. I think perhaps this bathroom has a broken extractor fan? I have a feeling that previously a fan used to come on when the bathroom light was switched on. If the fan could be repaired, it would help to prevent long term issues with damp/condensation building up in this area of the property.

Absolutely amazing property in a perfect location too.

We had a fantastic holiday! It’s a gorgeous house and we loved all the little details inside and the artwork. The babbling brook in the garden with the little outside lights was just magical.

This is a deceptively sized house, really thoughtfully equipped and very comfortable.

Lovely garden for relaxed evenings and everything tastefully furnished. The sofas are a bit tired, but comfortable. We had a great week and will be back!

The house was well equipped, comfortable & as described.

2 couples & 2 dogs thoroughly enjoyed staying there & we have no negative comments. The garden is a delight, next to the river.

We loved the location of the property.

There was everything we needed in the kitchen and we appreciated that. The welcome pack was thoughtful. Everywhere in the property was spotless. The mattresses were super comfy and the bed linen was good quality. The pillows probably need replacing. The wifi worked fine. The parking permit ( for one car) worked well and the car park is 5 mins walk from the property. We purchased a second permit via a local parking app. All in all, it was a great stay and would recommend the property.

We had a lovely week at 21 Mill Green and are already planning our return.

The cottage was lovely and as expected.

Location perfect for exploring the town. We loved the town. Sadly the experience booking with Sykes not great as it's almost impossible to actually speak to anyone would you have a question. Completely put my off using them again, sadly Sykes would be my last resort.

I'm afriad that the cottage has a snail infestation which should be attended to especially if children around, often we had a 60mm black slug making an appearance on the carpet in the lounge.

Also it's stretching a point to list it as having 2 bathrooms. It has a shower room on the ground floor off the kitchen..........not really practical with children mixed occupancy.

The property was lovely.

On a great quiet street close to the car park. Incredibly well equipped for a week’s stay. More spacious than it appears on the photos. Fitted three of our family and a grandparent and felt we could all have our own space. Only minuses were no one left us the WiFi code but that was resolved after a phone call. And it was a bit chilly and there were no instructions on how to get the heating to work ( for upstairs particularly). But the underfloor heating downstairs was great and the dogs loved it

We love this cottage with the river at the bottom of the garden.

It's very peaceful and on rainy days (we had a few) the conservatory is a useful space. All was in good order...It might just be useful to have a page in the welcome pack with the internet password, places locally to buy wood etc

This was one of the best holiday properties we have stayed in.

We enjoyed the outdoor space and the really well equipped kitchen.

Hi The extractor fan for the upstairs bathroom was on constantly which was very disturbing in the night.

We managed to depress the switch and that sorted it. But we shouldn’t have to do that. That bathroom was also incredibly cold. The radiator didn’t seem to work. There are only 6 mugs that are usable, forcing us to use the dishwasher to much. There should be a few more mugs in a house that sleeps potentially 7. But other than that we had a really good trip. The garden is perfect.

Lovely cottage and garden .

Comfortable and good amenities. Having the stream babbling at the end of the garden was very relaxing .

This was an ideal location from which to see the sights of Lyme Regis and surrounding area.

Located towards the lower part of the town, it was possible to avoid many of the steep hills and the walk to and from the seafront was a pleasant five minute stroll. There were many amenities within two or three minutes walk including Two Restaurants, Fish and Chip take away (highly recommended), Mill Shop, Micro Brewery, Gallery and Local Pub. The property had very generous accommodation and had all the facilities required. The welcome pack was a particularly nice touch on arrival. The rear garden overlooks the River Lym which gurgles cheerfully along accompanied by birdsong from the backdrop of trees which make the garden such a pleasant place to take breakfast or simply relax with a book. If the weather wasn't great, the small sun-room was an equally pleasant room in which to unwind. All in all, a super house in a great location. Thoroughly recommended.

Absolutely perfect cottage!

The location was fabulous and the garden with stream and fairy lights was idyllic. The cottage is really tastefully furnished, comfortable and clean. Everything we could need had been thought of. I would say this is the nicest cottage, for location, garden and interiors that we have ever stayed in. It was magical! The top bedroom bed did keep breaking, the boards kept coming off the frame, I think it just needs another board across….but it just added to the adventure!

Loved the property, loved the style & layout of the house & the garden was beautiful, with a stream at the bottom!

I enjoyed watching the wildlife. The kitchen was well equipped with all the essentials, including a washing machine & dryer! A lovely hamper was on arrival with local gifts of fudge, biscuits, juices, tea & coffee, very thoughtful. The bedrooms were large and the beds were very comfortable. The location was fab and near the centre of Lyme Regis & the beaches.
