"We had a lovely stay at 4 Charmouth House."
Thanks for the generous hamper and our girls loved the bunk beds, space to play and the games provided. My mum would have liked some info on the history of the cottage..maybe in the guest info. Recycling facilities and info would be good too but other than that we loved the cottage and all the facilities were great. Would highly recommend the cottage and the location.

"The cottage is situated in an ideal location, with all local ammenities within a very short distance from the cottage."
It is also within easy walking distance of the sea, albeit quite hilly. The cottage has all the neccesary equipment you would need for a stay and is spotlessly clean and comfortable. I would have no hesitation in recommending this cottage for a stay. Guests would not be dissapointed. However, we found the bed in the en suite bedroom extremely hard and uncomfortable for us and we therefore not return purely because of this. Other guests may find the bed to their liking so it is just our opinion and should not deter others from booking. Just one other detail, the cottage could benefit from having an air fryer which would save havingthe cooker or grill on for some time.

"This is a beautifully cared for comfortable place."
The living space is light and airy and the outdoor area gives a good view of the coastline. The bedrooms are cosy and quiet and warm. The provision of a dehumidifier to dry swimming gear was great. Charmouth has a nice pub, well stocked grocery store and a pharmacy. Great place to stay and so near the sea. We have been before and we will come again.

"Charmouth House was fantastic."
A beautiful clean property with everything we needed. Positioned perfectly for beach walks and local shops, and easy reach of the bus stops. Everything we needed for a relaxing week. We will definitely return.

"A very old historic cottage, with views of the countryside and the sea."
The cottage was comfortable and well equipped. We were greeted by a wonderful welcome hamper that was much appreciated. The only slight negative is that because of out very mixed weather , the downstairs was sometimes a little chilly. Overall however we had a lovely holiday. Charmouth is a very pretty village and situated within easy reach of the Dorset heritage sites

"There were just the 2 of us although the property catered for 6."
We were also lucky that the weather was good with no rain all week. The decking area was great and caught the sun all day. The large open plan living area was great. It was only 100 yards from the local pub, The Royal Oak and the local coop and bakery were excellent. It was a great location to use as a base for nice nearby towns.
