"The best thing about the Flat is the location."
Situated at the top of the High Street and 5 minutes walk from the High Street was ideal. Unfortunately, the furnishings and general decor are now quite tired and in need of an update. The Front Door access must be addressed immediately. The key barely operates in the lock, having been presumably recut many times. It took 5-10mins on each occasion to gain entrance and it was especially unnerving to be unable to get in when arriving at midnight. You shouldn't have to resort to waking up others in the building to access it. As noted by previous guests, the flat badly needs updating. At present it feels much more like staying in a Bedsit than a Holiday Rental and that any spending is being avoided. It's fine having a welcome pack with some fudge, tea bags and biscuits, but we'd have rather had some kitchen roll and decent towels. It's a shame because we would return in an instant if the front door issue is solved and the flat gets some TLC, but we would swerve it as things stand given the long list of alternatives in Lyme Regis

We enjoyed the stay, the location is the main benefit of the property, the kitchen and particular the bathroom needs updating, also the top of the hob was filthy with previous guests food so was not cleaned well, in addition to this the front door lock was broken so not secure from outside

"My husband and I have been visiting Lyme with Lyme Bay Holidays for several years (myself for 25 years) and this may be the best property we have stayed in."
The flat is cosy, both the bed and furniture was comfortable and we enjoyed the big TV. The flat's location was ideal, just out of town and therefore quiet and peaceful yet a short walk to the shops and seafront. The bedroom was spacious with more than enough room for our travel cot and space for our dog's crate in the living room. There was even a view of the sea from the kitchen window. The price of the flat was within our budget and we believe it was very good value. The only thing which would be helpful as a family with a baby would be the addition of a washing machine!

"Wonderful, very clean, very comfortable, well equipped, excellent location."
But the description contained the words "off-road parking" and this was not true. So we didn't get what we thought we had paid for. We had to walk 200 yards up a steep hill to get to a public car park, which was very expensive.
We have reviewed the marketing and travel directions to ensure that it does not reference "off-road parking" and can not see that it does. We do state information about the public car park and on road parking opposite the apartment building that may be possible to use for offloading etc. We hope that you enjoyed your holiday.
