  • "Generally, a nice lodge."

Good situation for visiting Bournemouth, Poole, Lymington, New Forest etc., A few disappointing things on initial arrival were the fridge needing cleaning, there was food left in cupboards from previous guests, worktops and handles felt sticky, the shower wasn’t particularly clean in the corners and the toilet seat in the en-suite was cracked. The entrance mat was quite marked from previous clients dirty shoe marks, and the cupboards all very untidy and haphazard. The fridge door is difficult to close and the door shelf cracked. None of these spoilt our holiday, but I wouldn’t say it was luxurious. It may be our downfall that we’re particular and like things spotless……..after wiping out the fridge and washing kitchen tops/handles, and wiping down odd marks on doors, we went on to accept the other discrepancies and had a most enjoyable week in the lodge. The lounge furniture was comfortable and kitchen utensils plentiful. The beds were comfortable. We had a few chillier evenings and it was lovely and cosy with the heating on. Such a shame that a few very minor issues let our expectations down……with a little bit more effort with the cleaning we could have been much more complementary.

  • "Devastated to attend site faced with hard rock festival (Love Rocks) within very close proximately and was the majority of our weekend stay, Annual 3 day event between a continuous 11am to 11."

30pm and should have been notified regarding this established event so we could have made an informed decision. Would not have booked as we are in our senior years with a mother heading into her 90s seeking piece and quiet. Text reply from owner had very little sympathy and denial of any responsibility even though it was common knowledge by anyone who owned a property on the site that we spoke to. Don't book between the 20th- 22nd June to avoid disappointment and poor value for what was premium cost for 3 days. Absolute nightmare!!!

Quince 10 is immaculately clean and has everything you need in the lodge and is probably the best one there. Wendy was very helpful with communicating.

  • "The lodge is beautiful, spacious and has excellent facilities all you could need except coat hangers we could only find six and two were broken, as we were only there for three nights it wasn't a big problem but had we been there a full week we would have had to buy some more."

Only a tiny gripe amongst lots of really good things, the furnishing was tasteful comfortable and cosy. Beds were comfortable and clean plenty of towels supplied lovely kitchen to cook in. Really enjoyed our stay. Thank you.

Thank you so much for your feedback, we are so glad you enjoyed your stay. There are spare coat hangers in the dressing room and also in the wardrobe in the second bedroom. We wish that you had got in touch during your stay so we could have helped. Thank you once again for taking the time to let us know your thoughts. Property Owner
