  • "The bungalow was excellent ideal for shops and beach."

The weather was not great on our visit and would certainly consider returning earlier than the end of September. The property was well presented and our only gripe was the build of dirt at the bottom rim the shower door. Enjoyed eating out locally but found the cost of a large glass of wine at the Oak£14.10 +10% service charge a bit steep though food was good.

shower will definitely be corrected. thank you fir feedback Property Owner

  • "Very nice bungalow and location."

Only minor criticisms are shaver point (for recharging toothbrushes) does not work and it would have been useful to have more crockery and cutlery. Otherwise very happy with property.

  • "Lovely bungalow in a quiet cul-de-sac near the beach and very close to a good pub and walkable to local amenities."

The welcome pack was much appreciated particularly the treats for the dog. Living area very comfortable although the tv is in a strange location. We liked the extra loose chairs when an alternative to a sofa is preferred. Bedrooms both comfortable and plenty of towels provided. Again the bedroom tv was strangely located not facing the bed. The toilets and bathrooms were very clean and modern. We did have to buy a few tea towels as these were not available and a pint glass or two and some larger mugs wouldn't go amiss. The garden is perfect with attractive raised beds, complete privacy and totally secure for dogs. Overall a fantastic property in a great location.

thanks for review. I've put another TV in living room .so more viewing choice. Property Owner

  • "The accommodation was very clean and tidy."

The beds were comfortable and plenty of storage. An enclosed garden suitable for a dog woukd be a sun trap in the summer months. Location was perfect for beaches and the New Forest and within easy walking distance of the High Street where there were a variety of eateries. A 5 minute walk via a cut through was The Oak, which is dog friendly and an excellent menu. We had a lovely few days at Ivy’s Place, just a shame the weather wasn’t better.

    Thanks very much. Property Owner
