"We stayed for a few days in September, the flat is lovely , very well decorated."
As we entered the flat the sun was shining and as you walked into the lounge the view from the 3 floor to ceiling was breath taking. Sitting on the small balcony with morning coffee is a bonus. .we hope we will be able to visit again. Thank you
Hi so glad you enjoyed your stay with us. The balcony is perfect way to enjoy your morning coffee as the sun rises over the Purbeck hills Hope to see you. On your next visit Tony owner Property Owner

"Could do with a wardrobe in second bedroom we had to hang our clothes on our suitcases not ideal."
People in other bedroom which had the only wardrobe didn't want to disturb them to get to our clothes.
Hi Thanks for your comment re wardrobe in the rear bedroom. Which you mentioned to my cleaner on your departure. We are now supplying a free standing wardrobe rack following your suggestion.. Thank you for your maximum scores and I hope the wardrobe didn't impinge on your enjoyment of the flat too much Hope to see you for future bookings Tony owner Property Owner

"Biggest worry in advance of arrival was the whole issue of parking."
We parked every day at the Royal Yard which is 200 metres ish from the property and also virtually the cheapest in Weymouth. Obviously being unable to book a space anywhere is always worrying but as this was not in high season we were always successful.
Thankyou for your feedback. We are pleased you found parking. There are numerous car parks in and around Weymouth which can be booked in advance on the Just Park app. We hope to welcome you back to Weymouth soon. Property Owner

"This is a lovely place, with a perfect location."
The big windows give an amazing view out over the beach, The apartment is airy and spacious, and having two double bedrooms is a rare bonus. The only slight disappointment was the lack of consumables, no soap, shower gel or kitchen paper roll were provided, and even the toilet paper was close to running out by the last day. Be very careful after using the shower, too, as there is no slip mat for the floor…..and it is VERY slippery! Nevertheless, this must be one of the nicest holiday apartments on the sea front, and I wouldn’t hesitate in coming back. In fact, I didn’t want to leave!
hi andy thank you for you very positive response, sorry about the consumables, its difficult to provide consummables for everones tastes, people have allergies, but fair points, We have now supplied soap, shampoo and conditioner in dispensers . More toilet rolls will be left in future and we will place a non slip bath room mat for safety. the shower already has one. The two bedrooms have kingsize (5ft) beds not doubles. Thanks again for your feed back , and hope to see you on your next booking with us. tony owner Property Owner

"Overall we thought the apartment was good."
The only negative point is the very high position of the microwave oven in the kitchen. We are all of a good height and yet we found using the microwave very awkward, it is definitely a health and safety issue. Taking hot dishes full of very hot food out of the microwave was very dangerous, as we were always worried about it slipping from our hands and falling all over our faces. People of shorter height would not be able to operate the microwave safely without a step ladder and that again would be a safety hazzard if carrying hot food going up and down. My recommendation would be to reposition the microwave to a safer place.
Thank you for your positive feed back , regarding the position of the micro wave. it is a built in microwave , so not possible to relocate it , but i have bought a counter top microwave , in addition to to the built in one , It sits on the counter top of the kitchen , so no more problems with reaching it. Hopefully your next holiday will be trouble free tony owner Property Owner

thank you so much.

"This was a terrific flat."
Presented beautifully with modern equipement.(no dishwasher but didnt bother us). The owner Tony called concerned that others in the building had reported noise and wondered if we had been disturbed. It is a holiday flat and there was a little noise from kids upstairs but really that must be expected. Loved your place Tony

"Hi we have stayed at several dreamt cottages and have enjoyed them all."
But we will not be able to stay at sun beach again unless there are some improvements. Number one the bathroom floors are very slippery and dangerous; mum and me nearly slip every day.but rest of the downstairs bathroom was lovely. Number two the self above the basin in the upstairs bathroom made the basin unusable. Number three the mirror above the bed is in a silly place. Number four the tv can’t be watched from one of the sofa . Having said all this the view was fantastic and we have never complained before. We will be happy to stay at other dream cottage even sun beach if those things are done
Thank you for your valuable feedback, we are glad you enjoyed the fantastic view from Sunbeach. It is a shame these points were not reported during your stay as Dream Cottages would have been happy to assist. The bathroom floor tiles are floor safe but it is advisable to ensure you are using the provided bath matt to avoid any slips after using the shower. We do also note on the listing that the flat is not suitable for guests with mobility issues so this needs to be considered before booking. The shelf above the sink is a narrow toothbrush shelf so should not cause the basin to become unusable so we are sorry you found this the case. The mirror above the bed is decorative and we wouldn't expect anyone to stand on the bed to make use of it as there are other mirrors available in the property but following your feedback we will be fitting a full length mirror at the end of June. The sofas are placed so that you can look out over the wonderful view of the sea but the TV can also be rotated easily to a slight angle so that it can be watched from both sofas. We hope to welcome you back to Weymouth in the future! Property Owner

"We enjoyed our stay at Sunbeach, though we had some issues which I'm sure will be easily resolved."
Our first problem was gaining access into the building, as the keysafe was actually inside. There was a minor issue with cleanliness and condition of some pots and pans, and we had to buy a colander. The microwave is too high for us but we could see that before we booked. Some of the table lamps weren't working, not sure why, but that wasn't really a problem for us. I would have liked more detailed instructions on how to control the heating as I'm not confident at experimenting with dials on a gas boiler. Having said all that, there were lots of positives. The bedding was clean and crisp, it was useful having 2 shower rooms, the lounge/kitchen looked newly fitted, with comfy sofas, the view is lovely and it's in a very convenient spot for the beach, shops, harbour and coastal walks.
Thank you for your feedback. We are very pleased you enjoyed your stay at Sunbeach and it’s seafront location, but sorry to learn that you encountered a couple of small issues. We do provide information folders in our properties containing instructions and also our contact details for these kinds of situations and if you had contacted Dream Cottages to let us know we would have been happy to provide a colander and help with your other issues swiftly by the local team.
