Lovely modern house.
Very cosy. Ideal location, both in the town and in the area for things to do. Easy parking at the house, and charging in a nearby free car park if you have an EV.
The house is very well presented and was very clean on arrival.
There are three well appointed bedrooms and good bathrooms. We were are party of 6 adults and struggled with the lack of comfortable seating for us all. Two had to sit at the dining room table, which in itself was only just big enough for six adults to sit at. We had fabulous weather while staying but found the outside seating area impossible to use for eating together or socialising on. We greatly missed having an outdoor table and chairs set to sit at and eat together. We cooked at the property several times and appreciated the fridge-freezer and cooker. We did however feel there was a lack of some basic kitchen equipment, such as a sieve, colander, potato masher and while there were plentiful bowls and plates, there was only enough cutlery for one meal so we had to keep washing up. The grounds needed some attention with lots of weeds and a particularly nasty bramble growing over the pergola. The property is a good house but could easily be made into a great house with some key improvements.
Property is well located, spotless and well equiped.
Walkibg distance to two great local pubs serving great food as well as local attractions and very well stocked local Spar shop for anything you may have forgotten. Outdoor space at house is also great although a few soft cushions or outdoor furnuture wiuld have made it even better as we where lucky enough to have great weather to make use of outdoor space but just a bit sore on the old bum sitting on the stone seats. An extra arm chair in the living area would also be great, 6 of us didnt quite fit on the large sofa ( we like to spread out!!) All just suggestions that would make our trip even better than it already was. A great space for a family gathering to celebrate our mums 80th. We will def be back again.
