  • "What a fabulous place!"

A real haven of peace and tranquility that feels more like home than home does. I could happily live there.

Excellent location for spotting wildlife, we saw from the cottage with a telescope: Red Deer and a Golden Eagle. There is plenty of room and equipment within the property, and to a high standard of decoration and cleanliness. Would definitely recommend

Quiet and peaceful glen up a single track road that only takes 10 mins driving from the roundabout in Fort William. Cannot fault the cottage in any way. Comfortable beds and plenty of room for our party of four. Thoroughly recommend to anyone who enjoys the quiet and wild nature of Scotland.

  • "Outstanding property."

Our second stay lived up to the enjoyment of our first and we would certainly consider another visit at some point. If being out in the middle of nowhere with amazing scenery and the opportunity to go walking is your thing, then this must come near the top of the list. Very quiet, apart from sheep and birds. Be prepared for the unpredictable weather, as waterproof gear is essential, but if you are lucky, as we were this time, the surroundings are simply breathtaking.

  • "An absolutely wonderful cottage!"

I asked my wife to book somewhere for my 50th to get away from everything for a few days, and it fitted the bill perfectly. The cottage was immaculate when we arrived and the bottle of wine and box of celebrations was very kind and a lovely touch. Our 3 boys loved the place, the youngest aged 6 enjoyed getting up in the morning and watching the sheep from the small windows in the middle of the staircase. We had all the facilities we needed, though the views from all the windows were enough to keep us occupied. Thank you so much for making my 50th something that I will remember fondly forever.

  • "This cottage is amazing well furnished and very comfortable, the views are out of this world and we loved every minute of it."

We had to leave a day early for a prior engagement which really annoyed us, so I booked again for 2024. I would heartily recommend this beautiful cottage and the only thing I will do next year is bring an airfyer as both my partner and I tend to cook mostly that way, all the mod cons and a very beautiful location we love it.

You feel remote and yet amenities only three miles away. The cottage itself was a joy to stay in with everything you need, warm, comfortable and good quality bedding and linen. Its location is stunning and we never got over seeing Ben Nevis every day. Stunning!!

The location being away from others is fab, but yet not far from the town for amenities is just what we were looking for. The style of the house is lovely with plenty of space, especially in the kitchen/diner when cooking and eating. Thank you for a lovely property ,home away from home.

  • "A fabulous cottage in a fabulous location with fabulous views."

It felt very roomy despite not being huge. Three really good sized bedrooms and a comfy lounge and kitchen-diner. All very clean and accommodating. Despite being down a single track road it's a very easy cottage to get to. The only oddity was a lack of basic kitchen supplies (no salt, pepper, oil, coffee filters). A minor point, and of course we managed fine, but just struck us as odd. Not that this prevented us from having a great holiday despite the weather!

  • "This is a genuinely lovely house to which we would really hope to return for another holiday."

It is light and spacious, furnished to a high standard and extremely well equipped. The kitchen and utility have everything you could need and it is a real home from home. The views from every room are breathtaking. The bedrooms are a really good size with comfortable beds and good quality linen. The quality bathrooms are spacious with a choice of bath or shower and plenty of towels provided. The location is perfect as you have the feeling of being out in the hills but yet only a 10 minute drive from all the facilities of Fort William - you really cannot fault this house at all.

! We had such a great week and we were blessed with wall to wall sunshine! The house really is beautiful with everything you need, it’s very well equipped and the beds are so comfy, would we stay again…most definitely. My only real feedback to the owners is it would be good if there was a BBQ and additional outdoor seating with a parasol.

It is a lovely cottage with beautiful views,Ben Nevis looks so close. It is well placed for Fort William, only a ten minute drive.A very peaceful location ,a cuckoo heard every day we were there, sheep up to the fence. We were lucky with wall to wall sunshine. The cottage is lovely, clean well maintained and provided for everything. The advantage for us is that one of our family has a mobility problem and the cottage has a large en-suite downstairs bedroom. The property is a good size overall .The upstairs bedrooms are lovely. The beds are a good size and comfortable. The two bottles of wine and flowers on arrival were much appreciated. Well recommended.

Located in an idyllic / remote setting yet only a 5 mins drive to the town of Fort William and everything that has to offer. The weather was very kind to us during our stay, we climbed Ben Nevis (bucket list) and we searched for Nessie (without success) along with lots of other memories made along the breathtaking Lochs and coastline. The en suite downstairs bedroom was very useful with my husband’s poor mobility. It was well equipped with everything you could need. The grandchildren enjoyed pottering about in the numerous little streams and countryside. Only downside was the lack of signal for the mobile phones but there’s a pay phone in the house. It’s a quiet retreat close to the town. Would highly recommend this property.

  • "The cottage is very comfortable with contemporary fittings and maintained to a high standard."

It had everything we needed for an excellent stay. It is located in a wild and beautiful glen with outstanding views. Although isolated it has a decent, though slow, wifi installation, but there was no service on our cell phones (Vodafone). Sky TV was an added bonus in view of the less than clement weather - it rained every day! Fort William is about 10 mins away with an excellent range of shops and restaurants - single track road, but very little traffic. Would like to have met the owners/housekeeper but they kept themselves to themselves and did not intrude on our privacy. Would not hesitate to book this cottage again.

Then there are the views… wow! What a setting, surrounded by the mountains, every view a picture and with the mighty Ben Nevis in the background. Ideally located base for touring the area but we didn’t want to go out, just far enough away but not too far, perfect! Thank you so much to all.

The dishwasher and the washing machine in the separate utility were much appreciated as was the indoor clothes rack and the outside washing line to suit all weathers. Many thanks. We would have appreciated access onto the farmland as we were surrounded by fields but with no right of way for walkers. Could this be agreed with neighbouring farmers / landowners do you think? Such a strange feeling not to be able to ramble over the land to explore and immerse ourselves in the beautiful Scottish scenery. Also the two single beds could do with bed bed ends as it was more comfortable to sleep with head at the foot of the bed to make best use of the light from the sky light and to reach the electric sockets for devices. Otherwise we had a very enjoyable stay and especially enjoyed our trip on the Harry Potter Steam train and walk in the gorge just beyond Ben Nevis Visitor Centre. It was breathtaking.
