"This cottage has been updated to a high standard and is very comfortable."
The location is wonderful. My only problem was the step access outside was awkward and it really needs addressing.

"We loved the location of the cottage."
Near enough to the viaduct with the Harry Potter steam train and the excitement from the crowd waiting but far away enough to be in a peaceful lochside location. The scenery was breathtaking. The cottage had been beautifully renovated. It was well equipped. Would suggest that a microwave would be a welcome addition to the kitchen. The owners were extremely helpful and welcoming as was Joe who lived nearby. We would recommend staying here and would love to return ourselves one day
Thanks for the feedback Helen. Always take on good quality feedback. I'll consider putting a microwave and tv in the property at the end of the busy season. . Just didn't want to lose the charm Thanks James Property Owner

"Great location."
Great, homely property. Loved it. Only wrinkle was the shower couldn’t be set to a lower temperature- but a really minor biggie. Otherwise fantastic
Glad you had a nice stay Dave. Sorry you had an issue with the shower. I had a look and works fine.. One side is for temperature and the other side pressure and on/off. Best wishes James Property Owner

"We had a really lovely stay at Slatach."
The location is amazing, what a view of the Loch! And the house itself is clean, cosy and has so much interesting Scottish heritage within it. Glenfinnan coffee wagon just up the road is especially convenient and kept us fuelled for exploring the Highlands. This accommodation has everything you need when you’re visiting for a walking/exploring holiday or stay especially a decent hot shower! We are hoping to come back very soon
Glad you enjoyed your stay Doug. See you soon! James Property Owner

"Loved the feel of the cottage, and the cleanliness."
Note that there is no TV in the cottage, but there is good Wifi. Waking up to the view over the lake on one side, and the mountains on the other side was a great way to start the day. If you like birds, I suggest that people use a bird-sound app such as Merlin to identify them. There was a good variety around the cottage. Also to note: the cooker is induction, and for the first few days we found it difficult to bring anything to the boil - until we discovered an induction "plate" with a handle, which can be placed under the pan each time you use the cooker.
Happy you enjoyed your stay Linda. Thanks for all the feedback. Best wishes James Property Owner

"Lovely property with amazing breathtaking views!"
! The locals are so friendly and accommodating, we had a day of heavy rain all day and the locals checked we were ok and offered a route through their own garden to get past the flooded loch! The property is cozy and has all the basic things required. 10/10 we will be back!
Glad you had a good time Laura. Busy clearing storm damage so never got a chance to meet you. That was Joe you meet. Bit of a celebrity round here. Surprised he didn't sing you a song! Maybe next time Property Owner

"What's not to love, the cottage is tastefully decorated, it's immaculate and has everything you need for a lovely, comfortable stay, including plenty of firewood to make your evenings toasty."
The beds are so comfy and the shower is amazing. The location is just stunning, by far the best view I've ever had from a property, right on the edge of the loch, it's just beautiful and peaceful. The owner, James, is lovely and I would definitely recommend his coffee
Thanks for the feedback Jackie. It was lovely to meet you and the family. Hopefully see you again soon. Merry Christmas James Property Owner

"The cottage is in an amazing location with great views all around and lovely neighbours!"
The range of shops close by in Fort William were great and other places to visit were also only a short drive away. The cottage itself was clean, a great size and very comfortable. Absolutely loved our visit and would love to book again when we come back to the highlands! :)
Thanks Robbie, i never got a chance to meet you this time. Glad you enjoyed your stay. All the best James Property Owner
